Jay had finally got up from the bed. He had been unable to sleep, despite all the comforts around the bedroom they had given to him - a large bedroom that Jay suspected was the previous Alpha's.
It was comfortable- or as comfortable as he could be. But it was difficult for him to even relax, even though days had passed.
The members of the pack had treated him like a king - like their Alpha.
It scared him and saddened him at the same time. He couldn't help but wonder why they accepted him despite being a stranger, he knew he should not accept the offer, he has a pack of his own,but if that will lead him to his daughter, then he'd gladly take it
After all, he knew that he could not be the Alpha for them. They had to find someone else, anyone else who was more suitable. But the last time that he brought that up, he got saddened smiles from everyone, and the Pack Elders fell to their knees begging him to take their pack and become the Alpha.
