Days after I still could not wrap my head around what I had discovered, every night I stay up late to examine the face of my mate in contrast with the picture I saw.
One night after dinner, she sat me down on the bed to give me reports of the progress she has made in her "peace with all movement". She looked excited and her face radiated light.
"How could she be so strong, and pretty" I whispered.
"I heard you Jay, don't flatter me" she said blushing.
I couldn't hold it in anymore, I drew her closer to me, sat behind her and made her lean on my chest. I gently caressed her hair, twisting and braiding some strands of her hair.
"You're so beautiful Steph, makes me wonder what your mum looked like." I said
"Can you tell me about your mom," I asked
She turned her face to look at me and paused for a while.
