I stood at the door looking at Stephanie struggle for her life and wished I could take her place, I prayed if the goddess must take a soul it should be mine. I looked up and whispered
"Mum in case Steph misses her way up there, please send her back here, she really is important to me, do this for your sons happiness ma"
The doctor approached us once again asking if we were set to run the test
"Yes we are" we all chorused fidgeting.
We started going in one after the other and the doctors took our blood sample after which we all went back to sit at the reception waiting to be called upon for the donation.
An hour passed while we waited for the result of our examination, not long after the doctor came out with a creased face worried and overly worn out from the stress.
"It's a pity you all cannot donate for her" he announced
I flared up and held him by the collar of his lab coat.
