"Now, I really have to go!" Caroline yelled.
Caroline Forbes disappeared out of the house.
Caroline landed in New Orleans, she walked around the street. She didn't have the address. She didn't know where he lived.
She found herself in the middle of the town. It seemed like a voodoo shop. It said, "Jardin Gris."
She saw a brunette woman coming out of it. Dressed in jeans, T-Shirt and a leather jacket.
"Excuse me!"
She turned around.
"Caroline?" She squinted.
"Hayley?" She looked at her, "Is that you?"
"What are you doing here?" She asked,
"Klaus invited me."
"And you accepted?" Hayley dropped the bottle she was holding.
It crashed to the ground, and its contents spilled out. Hayley didn't care.
"Yes….He sent a ticket, but I don't have an address." Caroline jumped, she took a step back from the broken bottle. "I was looking for the Mikaelson Compound. Direct me, will you?"
She asked Hayley.
"Okay.." Hayley told her, "I'll show you."
"Don't you have to buy that thing again?" Caroline asked, pointing to the bottle that had smashed on the street.
"No….I don't think I'll need it now." She smiled warmly.
Caroline followed Hayley.
"So, what are you doing here, Caroline?" She asked. "Finally, coming here?"
"I would ask you the same question, but in my case I know what you are doing here." Caroline didn't answer, instead she twisted the answer,
"What do you know?" Hayley asked.
"That you are having Klaus's baby."
Hayley jumped again.
"How do you know that?" She asked.
"Duh..Klaus!" Caroline shook her head.
Caroline felt people moving around.
"Do you hear that?" Caroline asked.
"No...what is it?" Hayley looked confused, "What?"
"Nothing….I think it just must be my imagination!" Caroline dismissed the idea.
They walked a little further when several vampires crowded her.
"What have we got here!?" One of them snickered at them.
"What is happening?" Caroline asked Hayley, whispering.
"I don't know."
"No wolves in the quarter!" The night walker moved towards them. "Marcel's rules!"
Their faces turned weird, Hayley didn't have any advantage over them. She was a wolf and a pregnant one at this time.
Caroline stepped in front of her.
"Well, she is." Caroline stood her ground, "But I am not."
A nightwalker advanced and Caroline broke his neck.
There were six of them, even if Caroline tried, she knew she couldn't take them all. She was newly turned as well…..A few years didn't make her much stronger.
She tried fighting them off, Hayley did as best as she could, when she pulled off a branch and staked a vampire. Caroline pulled the heart of one.
One vampire held Caroline by the throat and two of them guarded Hayley. They were going to take her to Marcel.
Suddenly, a figure zoomed around, Caroline couldn't see how it was. But the two vampires that were blocking Hayley's way lay dead.
Before Caroline could do anything, the night walker's grip on her throat loosened. His face turned gray.
His body landed on the ground with a thud, and Rebekah Mikaelson emerged from behind him. She was holding a bloodied up heart.
"Nik was right!" She dropped the heart on the ground, "I'll be damned, he got the girl to come to New Orleans."
"Rebekah?!" Caroline exhaled sharply, "Thank you…" She massaged her throat.
"You knew about this?" Hayley pointed towards Caroline, "Did you know she was coming?"
"Nik mentioned it once." She replied, "But I didn't believe him. I thought you would leave my brother stranded as usual!"
Caroline shook her head softly, she didn't know why anyone couldn't believe that she came.
She walked behind Rebekah and Hayley towards the Mikaelson Compound.
Rebekah opened the doors,
"Nik!" She shouted, "The woman you love and the mother of your child are here!"
Hayley snorted. Caroline stifled a giggle.
"Do you have to yell, Rebekah!" Klaus Mikaelson's grumbling was being heard as he came towards the staircase.
"The whole city probably heard you." He stood at the top of the stairs, and froze.
"Caroline?"
His expressions completely changed. He smiled, Rebekah and Hayley exchanged meaningful glances. Rebekah shook her head.
"When did you get here?" He came down the stairs, "Why didn't you call?"
"I met Hayley and Rebekah on the way." She explained, "And you didn't give an address."
"Sorry, love." He smiled, "The thing is I didn't actually believe that you would come."
She shook her head.
"I have to show you something!" He told her.
Caroline looked a little uncertain, she looked at Hayley to Rebekah. Hayley nodded at her. She followed him.
Klaus Mikaelson directed her upstairs, he took out a key from his pocket.
"This is your room." Klaus opened the door. "I got this set when I first invited you here."
"But that was years ago." She remembered. "Almost four years ago."
"I know." She couldn't understand why he thought this was normal.
"You knew I would come?" She asked, surprised.
He unlocked the doors,
"Well, I hoped." He pushed the doors, and walked in. "Come in."
"You are really crazy!" She glanced at him. "You know that, don't you?"
Caroline walked inside. It was bigger than her room at her own house. But almost the same as her room. Old fashioned furniture, but cute. The difference was a large window that was almost the size of a door.
Her mouth dropped.
"This is the same as my room." She turned towards him.
It was set exactly as her room in the Forbes House.
"I know." He replied.
"But you were just in my room once." She told him.
"I know, Caroline." He told her. "I set this room just like I know you like it."
"That is crazy, Klaus." Caroline told him, "It is more crazy than Klaus-Crazy!"
She told him.
"Anything for you, love." He told her, "I'll get someone to clear everything up."
She had no words,
"And I'll take you out to this amazing new restaurant." He told her, "I can eat the waitress...I am starving."
She laughed. Hoping he was joking.
"But, before we go!" He took her hand, "The best thing!"
He pulled the curtains away. She took a step back.
"Woah!" Those were the only words Caroline could say.
Klaus stepped outside, it was a terrace, it showed miles and miles of the city. Lights shone around. It was the perfect view of the city.
"Come on, Love." She was frozen outside. "What's wrong?"
She came outside, she smiled.
"This is....." Caroline stopped, "Beautiful. Klaus….Beautiful!"
She looked out. She felt she was in another world. She took out her phone, and took a picture.
"What are you doing, love!" He asked.
"Capturing the moment!" She smiled. "This is the first time I have been out of Mystic Falls."
She told him.
