The young man cleaning the room was disturbed by the sound of shards beside him when he turned his head to see the sound. He was surprised by his wide-eyed and wide-open mouth.
"H- How could the three Elders die? Aren't they in the arena?" he muttered in surprise.
He quickly ran towards the exit, "This news must be reported to the Sect Patriarch," he continued hastily.
In the Hall of the Sword Sect
The middle-aged man sipping tea was startled by the sound of the door opening loudly. He turned towards the sound and saw a young man with a pale face.
"What is it?" asked the Patriarch standing up from his chair.
The youth lowered his head, "Sorry, Patriarch. The three elders have been killed," he said, showing three pieces of jade that had broken.
