Abraham began to launch his action and responded to Sarah, who was crazy about him. He just laughed at the sound of Sarah begging to meet him. It's an ironic fact. In the past, during his life, he was the one who always begged Sarah's attention. But now it's different. It was the woman who kept in touch with him.
"When can we meet again, Abraham? Or, tell me where you live. Let me pick you up now."
"Sorry, Sarah. I've been busy with work. Besides, I won't be in Birmingham for the next few days, and don't know when I'll be back."
"But, Abraham, Iā"
"I have to go now. See you later, Sarah. Take good care of yourself."
"Abraham..."
He purposely hung up the phone and smiled at the thought of Sarah's annoyed face. Abraham knew very well what a woman would do if her wish was not fulfilled. In the past, he would have tried to fulfill all of Sarah's wishes instead of seeing her angry. But not anymore. Because he wasn't the weak Abraham he used to be.
