"We are planning to get married in the near future. But first, Javier will introduce myself to the Mascherano family. After that, we just got married."
Devan saw his best friend's happiness and confidence when he said that. However, he still doubts Della's words about the Mascherano family. Because, to his knowledge, the family had just announced the engagement of Javier Mascherano to a girl from the Ryder–Kimberly family.
If the big news that had been touted by the two families from the highest caste was true, then, for the second time, Della would be hurt again. And Devan was afraid that it would shake his best friend's mind.
