Getting into the room, I felt like a little sleep would be of help. I guess it's cause at least I walked around the beach and I was with someone. The more I think about it humans are not as bad as I have always thought.

"wake up..." Jennie said to my ears and I woke up immediately. Can't believe it was morning already. She left for her room and I got up from the bed and started getting ready. In no minutes I was done and she came to get me. We assembled at the same spot for some instructions. Mrs. Sam came to me after she was done instructing everyone generally.
" Today you don't have to clean the pools, I have some experts from that job... you have no permanent job category so be a waitress im sure Jennie will help you with that" she said and left. Jennie's happiness was visible in her eyes.
"Isn't it a good way to start your week... at least you won't be working under the scorching sun and at least we are about fifteen waitresses so you won't have to work that hard..." she said pulling my hand to where the others were having breakfast. Maybe it was a good start for the day. Cleaning the pools alone was so difficult that I didn't even want to go back there. Jennie chose the same breakfast for me as hers, black coffee and some sandwich and sausage. Not bad at all. While eating she kept on talking about his the day was going to be fun and honestly, I saw no fun there because I don't even know what a waitress does.
"I think we should go and ask if I should get you a new uniform just like mine." The whole conversation this is the only thing that she said and I got interested in.
"Let's do it after we are done having breakfast just in case Mrs. Sam destroys our appetite," she said and we continued with the breakfast.
Done with the breakfast we headed to her office. On knocking, she let us in but she seemed surprised when she saw the two of us. Maybe she just expected one person.
"Why are you two here, I don't like a lot of people in my office..." she loomed at us fiercely.
"Excuse me Mrs... I brought Gianna because I wanted to ask if she should change her uniform to the ones the other waitresses are wearing," she said and you could sense her shaking voice. I even held her hand because even her body was shaking.
"And what's wrong with the one she's wearing? There's no uniform for waste unless she buys it with her own money which I doubt she has... but on the other hand, I never said she's a permanent waitress I might call her to do another work for me... I think there's a better place you both should be instead of suffocating my office" We didn't have to wait to be kicked out. Okay, I'm gonna say she's just a mood destroyer, I did not expect more from her but Jennie was more sad than I was, considering she was in a good mood when we came to the office.
" I think you weren't so wrong about us having breakfast first!" I said and she smiled.
"C'mon it's nothing okay? I'm fine you don't have to worry... Who cares about the dumb uniform anyway" I didn't mean to say it that way but I guess I just had to.
I followed the lead of Jennie. There were menus on each customer table so all I had to do was get to know what the customer wanted and then order it from the kitchen, take it to them, and then get the bill once they are done or ready to leave. This was a bit difficult for me because I was not as fast as the other waitresses. Also, it was difficult to know the customers because some were on the outside, others were on the pool, and so on. Jennie told me to try and deal with the ones which were on the inside and that way I couldn't get the order to the wrong person. Courtesy was all you needed to deal with these people, some were flirting some were serious some were giving tips others were strict about their bills.
" Get me hot milk and a chocolate cake.... make it fast" The customer was a male and did not look that friendly. I nodded and went for the order. I don't know what was wrong because I asked for the order almost ten times but everyone kept on ignoring me. At last, I was given. I kept on looking at the man as I walked towards him and he looked so upset.
I was handing it to him when I slid and fell, the hot milk was all on me and some splashed on the man's suit.
" What a stupid waitress, just because you are beautifulul you think you can be a waitress? It took you twenty minutes to get a simple order and yet you splash it on me! Do you know how expensive the suit I'm wearing is? What a waste of my time here" I was still down, I didn't know hit milk can burn this much. Jennie came rushing and helped me off the ground.
"I'm really sorry sir... I didn't mean for this to happen" Jennie also helped me to apologize but the man was not taking it. He was yelling all kinds of insults.
"What's going on here?" It was Mrs. Sams's voice. Just from her voice, you could tell that she was angry.
"You have such a useless waitress..... I'm not gonna pay for that meal and I need a new suit" the man said angrily and stormed out.Everyone was now looking at us. I didn't even get a chance to explain what had happened, a heavy slap landed on my face. I've never been slapped before and this one hit hard.
"Are you stupid? Do you know what you have done? That's one of our best clients here... Even if you work for ten years you'll never be able to buy a single of his suit... Someone get her a slasher... Cut the grass and trim the flowers in the backyard." She gave me an angry look and then walked away.
"Before that..." she stopped and didn't look back. "Wash this place right now... And I've only said you...Jennie get to work" She then went ahead.
