The following morning, Dz found himself wrapped in the comforting cocoon of sleep, oblivious to the persistent chirping of his alarm clock. Even the insistent beeping failed to stir him from his slumber, and when he finally roused himself, it was with a heavy head throbbing from a relentless migraine. As he gingerly stepped out of bed, he couldn't escape the palpable weakness that seemed to permeate his entire body.
With a hand cradling his pounding head, Dz slowly sank back onto his bed. His unruly curls fell into his face, prompting him to halfheartedly brush them aside. The weariness weighed on him, and despite his initial plans to take a leisurely day off to recuperate, his body refused to cooperate.
Groggily surveying his surroundings, Dz spotted the remote control on the bedside cabinet. Sliding his body across the bed, he reached for it and used it to part the curtains, allowing the soft light of the spring morning to filter into the room. Blinking rapidly, he struggled to adjust to the newfound brightness outside.
As he peered through the window, the beauty of spring unfolded before him, the remnants of winter disappearing with the changing weather. After a moment of calm, Dz reached for the service phone and called for the butler to bring breakfast to his room. Despite his hunger, the fatigue was too much for him to venture downstairs.
Dz's phone had been silent since his conversation with Shan the day before, and he intended to keep it that way for the rest of the day. After instructing the butler, he made his way to the bathroom, opting for a quick morning shower instead of a leisurely bath. Glancing around, Dz noticed that the butler had tidied up the room and laid out a tempting breakfast spread.
Approaching the butler, Dz greeted him with a smile. "Good morning, Alfred. That looks delicious. I'm famished and exhausted. Did the master already leave?"
The butler reciprocated the greeting and explained, "Good morning, young master. I prepared a light breakfast at the master's request. He left early for a product launch today. I wasn't supposed to wake you, as per his instructions."
Surprised but pleased, Dz smiled and replied, "Oh, really?" It wasn't so much a question as an acknowledgment of Fu Lanzi's consideration. The butler excused himself, offering assistance if needed.
Seated comfortably on the sofa, Dz indulged in his breakfast – oolong tea, soup, porridge, and a medley of sliced fruits. It was a rare moment of savoring good food, and honesty compelled him to admit that it had been a while since he enjoyed a meal so thoroughly. With his day planned ahead, he looked forward to spa treatments and a much-anticipated full-body massage to rejuvenate his tired body.
After his meal, Dz stepped out of the house, by the entrance Chen his trusted body guards was waiting by the car, after a brief greetings, Chen opened the door for his master and went back to the driver seat, the destination is a spa highly recommended and expensive, known to only host celebrities or rich clients, you need to make at least a month reservation in order to get the best treatment, but Dz made a call last night to make a reservation and he got in, so today he plans to spend his entire as a normal omega trying to relax.
