12:00pm.
It was lunch, Li Xie stomach rumbled in hunger as she stood up when her door flew opened. It was Zhang Linfen.
"Are you hungry?"he asked nonchalantly.
"Yes"she said when the door opened and the butler from their home came in with bags,he dropped in on the table,bowed before leaving without saying a word.
Zhang Linfen came towards her and sat on the seater.
"We'll have lunch together"she had her mouth open as she looked at the bags that filled her table and it still looks like the space wasn't enough.
'KNOCK'
'KNOCK'.
There was a knock on her door,her heart was racing, afraid that if it was her fellow employees,they would start having lewd thoughts and start suspecting her and Zhang Linfen relationship, she also expected Zhang Linfen to be a little bit disturbed since this was his work place.
"It's me, Tang meili"the person shouted, Li Xie walked towards the door and opened it a little hiding the inside away from her view.
"I was wondering if you're ready for lunch"Li Xie face palmed herself forgetting about the lunch between her and Tang meili.
"Am really sorry,i can't make it maybe another time"Li Xie said apologetic. Tang meili nodded in understanding, she walked away with anger, knowing she won't get her bonus again.
"No more playing nice"she murmured in anger walking to her office.
Meanwhile,
Zhang Linfen had already unpacked the food, immediately Li Xie looked back,her eyes met with the delicacies on the table that her mouth start to water.
She walked to her table"Eat"she heard him say in a domineering tone, she smiled and couldn't refuse his offer as she dug in when a text entered into her phone.

Li Xie was confused to whom the person is when the person sent another text.
Unknown {"i hope you haven't forgotten about our date today?"}.
She racked her brain and realized that the person was Lu Yu, she didn't know how he got her number and didn't care but she was angry that he forced her to go on a date with him. If not because of his influence, she would have refused him right away but she knows that one shouldn't take his threat lightly.
Little xiexie {"I'll be very busy today"} she responded and continued eating after saving his number as'annoying jerk'.
Annoying jerk {"have checked your schedule and saw that you'ld be free from three-thirty pm. I'll come pick you up from the Wen's"}her mind was in haze,this man won't change, always interfering in her personal matter,why did he have to come back to ruin her life again after she had moved on.
Zhang Linfen saw that she had spaced out and coughed lightly.
Li Xie looked at Zhang Linfen,then back at her phone because of the vibration.

Li Xie held her chest as she read the text, she kept on reading a sentence'what happened years ago'.
She kept on reading it again and again as she drifted into thoughts.

A young girl was going to school with another girl at her side when a boy jumped in their front as they both jumped in fright.
"Ahyu,you scared me"Li Xie said with a frightened face as her friend looked at Lu Yu with anger.
"Xiexie,warn him,does he want to send me to my early grave"Lin wei hissed walking away while leaving the two love birds on their own.
"Ah yu,see what you've done. You're so annoying"Li Xie said ignoring him.
"Don't be angry, punish me"he held his ear like a good boy making her giggle, seeing that she was happy,he smiled and put both his hands in his pocket.
"You're heading to school right?"he asked looking ahead.
"Yes,Ah yu,am really going to miss you. Must you go?"she said sadly.
He looked at her face and smiled cheekily"you know i can't leave you so am staying"she stopped to look at him trying to see if he's playing a prank on her but he looks serious.
She forgot about manners and hugged him"Ah yu, you're really not going"he cupped her face and looked into her eyes.
"I love you so much that i can't breathe without you. I'll stay with you until you've finished school and then we'll get married"he kissed her so deeply and left her only when he saw that she was breathless, he careless her lips as she blushed.
"I love you too"she said running away from him,he chuckled softly at her childish behavior before moving in another direction.

Li Xie smiled at the sweet memory but now all she feels for him is hatred and only hatred.

In a meeting room,
The manager was explaining some things to the boss when the boss took his phone and typed on it. That small action was enough to shock everybody.
'BING'.
His phone bing, they all thought their boss will reject it but to their amazement,he carried his phone and responded with a smile.
The person explaining stopped when he saw that their boss wasn't paying attention,they were looking at their boss in astonishment.
"Meeting adjourned"he stood up and walked to his office and looked at the frame on his wall with a glint of happiness.
'She remembers me'.
He smiled and strokes the painting.
