045 looked at the book.
"Space Magic: Experiences of Solus"
He mumbled the name of it with emptiness but a hint of reverence in his eyes.
He took the book and willed for it to enter the ring storage of all and any. Now that the oathtaking is done and his short-lived discipleship is also done, all the emotions from the recent ordeal came back to him.
The screaming of running prisoners, the sound of falling bodies near him after a loud gunshot, the grandma smiling at him with a hole in her body, and the senior brother that pushed him further when he suddenly stopped running.
Everything fills up his mind. The past memories then resurfaced, the prisoners playing childish games to entertain him, the uncles pushing each other and falling to the ground because of a small fight but gets up again and smile to each other even shaking their hands, the grandma that sneakily takes snacks from the officer just to give it to him, and lastly his senior brother that takes all the hit for him whenever a drunk officer comes to their cell just to beat someone up without any good reason.
He willed for the storage ring's contents.
There, he looked intently at teleportation mirror and the book of borrowed power.
His head boiled with rage.
"All of them, ALL!"
His head's veins bulged from extreme anger"
"DIE!"
He took out the teleportation mirror and imagined going back to earth, to the exact place of the prison.
The mirror then shined blue and engulfed 045 with light. He transported exactly to the landmine that almost blew his whole body into pieces.

"Chief, we lost laborers..."
A lanky teenager said to a huge man. He seemed aggrieved of the lost now.
"It's fine, my men needed practice in live shooting. You even shot two yourselves, and while they are running. You are quite good."
"Hehe, I sure am chief. But regardless, who will attend to the rice fields now? and also the livestock?"
"We can just abduct peasants from the south. It's not like the goody government watch on them. They don't care on them. They will be our new laborers."
"Ohhh, but chief, why even let the girls get shot? I haven't even played with them."
"Even I have not played with them. You don't know how aggressive the men in that group of peasants. They will all die first before we can touch any of the girls."
"Then just kill the men, why even order to shoot the girls?"
"Soldiers can't be blinded by their hormones. Today, I taught you and other hot-blooded younglings to be cruel even to opposite gender. It's not like we don't have other women to play with. We can just abduct or even buy directly from those huge companies in the south. Those dirty peasants can't compare to them."
"Really? When!?"
The lanky guy breathed hard that it can be heard by the chief.
The chief glared at the little guy, almost pissing him off to punching him hard.
"Haa, just wait. I will reward you lots based on kills this week."
"Yay!"
The lanky guy then ran to the other side to tell his friends of the good news.

045 looked at the green field. There laid the fresh bodies of the prisoners, the people who he considered to be his family.
He opened the book of borrowed power, looked at its pages, and there he saw a diagram with a drawing superimposed that looks like a shield. The one that save him earlier.
He willed the diagram to activate and his body got engulfed by the same blue shield except that he did not get transported. He reached out with his hand to touch the barrier but his hand just seemed to pass through air.
The diagram emitted a light and the book hovered in front of him.
"Will this really protect me?"
The thought of safety was passing, and he did not overthink it.
"It's a borrowed life anyway."
He looked forward again to the field where everyone he knew died.
He walked close to his brother. He looked at his smiling face and opened eyes that's looking forward.
"Fool, why even smile when you're dying?"
045 eyes moisten, he closed his brother's eyes, and laid his body properly in the grass.
"I will bury you properly later... after I bury the others alive"
045 walked past the dead bodies in the green field. He did the same thing to everyone, closed their eyes and laid their body properly upright.
He walked and walked until he saw the big enclosure they had been prisoned in.
045 looked up and mumbled,
"What a strange thing. This was my home and funeral."
He saw the men who took his family's life like slaughtering chicken in the balcony. There, they talk with large hand gestures. A lanky guy even has his tongue out and swirling it in air while holding booze in both of his hands.
He looked left and right inside that soon to be huge funeral house.
He then saw a huge man looking at him with eyes seemed to be popping.
He just smiled lightly to the man. He then heard him say loudly.
"Everyone! Prepare to attack!"
But 045 just flipped the pages in the book floating above him. Slowly and steadily as he choose which drawing is best to kill them happily.
