Chapter 9
…
…
Suddenly, he felt the wet hot tears fill up his eyes and hot torrents of grief coursed down his face. Streams of tears flowed faster than his heartbeat as deep emotions stirred with no other outlet but through my long-lasting sobs. He knew it, Samuel would not accept the divorce…
"Bye bye.. Rafael…" she cried as she mumbled incoherent things through her hands and choked on her sobs.
…
…
At noon, Rafael barged into the family's villa and yelled loudly at his brother. His voice was so loud, so thunderous, that no one could concentrate on what he was saying. He became a different person. His eyes had warped into a miserable black.
"Samuel!!" he yelled "What do you mean by all of that mess??"
A look of great bitterness swept across his face as he balled his fingers to a fist and drove them through the wall, then his pulse sped up and he was breathing very shallow.
"What do you mean," mocked Samuel "older bro?"
"Please do not drive me crazy, you know exactly what I mean!"
"I do?"
"Why the hell did you sleep with and marry Julia???!!!"
"Oh, you mean your crush? The one who tried to shoot me!"
"My crush, your wife!"
"Oh, that is right, we are married."
"Shut up!! Return her for me, Samuel!!"
His pulse raced and he breathed heavily, almost as if he would burst. His muscles grew tense and he cracked his knuckles. His body temperature rose, and he could feel his blood boiling. A vein from his neck popped out and he yelled directly as his brother who stayed calm.
Then, a woman, who seemed pregnant, stood up from her sofa and yelled: "What do you mean by married??? Samuel??"
"Who knows..." he replied calmly
"Are you cheating on me??"
"He is not only cheating on you," joined Rafael "but also married the girl I love! Samuel, I did not come to fight with you, brother. Please, divorce her."
"Sorry, never." Rejected Samuel "Rafael, you know that I have loved her since that day. You put an eye on the woman I loved and forced a marriage on me to get rid of me, however never! I love Julia. Humph."
With no way of patience, Rafael swung up his left fist and slammed it into Samuel's jaw, then gave him a sharp round punch to the chin. Samuel stared at the river of blood that appeared and flowed down his torso. Afraid, his wife screamed loudly and the other members tried to stop the fight.
With a quick pace, he hit him a left hand in the V under his ribs where the sternum ends. It paralyzed his diaphragm and he gasped and doubled over, then pitched forward onto the sidewalk.
"You punched me, big bro?" roared Samuel "If you want a fight, then it is a fight…"
Samuel slapped his brother with hi open left hand full across the face. It rocked him and he took a step back and then steadied himself, blinking his eyes and staring at him. The, Rafael swung back around and roundhouse kicked him in the stomach real hard.
"Please, stop it!!" yelled the mother, Rodina Spears "You are brothers!!"
However, her sons did not really here her words, and Rafael unwilling kept beating his brother up. His fist swung towards him like a baseball bat and he dragged my hands up in front of his face to protect him. Seeing his chance, Samuel brought his knee up hard into his groin, however Rafael expected it, anticipated it, and replied with a slap to his face.
"Do not expect to defeat your big bro!" roared Rafael "Do not forget that I wasn't a deputy chief for nothing!"
"…" Samuel could not reply but with heavy panting
"Divorce her!!"
"Never… Never!!!"
Rafael could not bear his words, so he gifted him with one kick to the gut and a bubble of blood formed at the corner of his mouth and popped. Then, a fist planted harshly against his ribs, causing him to double over.
Gravity tugged his body down and he fell swiftly before colliding with the hard ground. His skull was vibrating painfully as he smashed into the hard ground, blood was seeping from the corner of his busted lip to fell his mouth, and he laid there, his breath wheezing and eyes closed.
Samuel felt a rising in his chest and his head was spinning and threatening to explode. He let out a loud growl of annoyance as he stomped his foot on the ground, nearly making a hole, and left the villa to go out to change his mood.
On the other hand, Alena Watson, Samuel's wife and the daughter of Mr. President, was mad, she could almost feel her blood boiling in her veins, because her husband was not satisfied nor in love with her. The existence of another girl in his life, a wife, would make her turn into a wild beast that was ready to harm any person. Her nostrils were flaring, and she stood from the table, fist clenched at her sides.
"Samuel!!!" yelled Anita "My love... Please, divorce that girl..."
"Anita..." he answered "This is none of your business, cheap!"
"Eh!! What do you mean?? Samuel, I am your wife, your one and only, your lover, your partner."
"You are living in delusions, my wife..."
"What??"
"Do I seem in a good mood to fight with you, too?"
Samuel had lifted his body and left her standing there fuming without replying decently, he did not only not love her but also hated her deeply and she knew so. Her muscles grew tense and she clenched her fists so hard that her nails cut into her skin. She took her phone and rushed out of the room to call her brother and tell him about her cheating husband and to take care of him.
Then, their mother sat calmly as if nothing had happened, she drank her tea a sip after another and then opened her mouth addressing Samuel: "Did you really marry your brother's crush?"
"I did." He answered after he sipped glass of wine "So what?"
"Why did you do so?"
"I found her interesting, so I made a contract with her."
"And she accepted?"
"Yes."
"I know that you hate your wife, but do you also hate your brother?"
"I do not know."
"Just divorce her, you are already married and have a family. Now, call your brother and make up with him."
"I will not… Mother."
