Chereads / Wolves love / Chapter 2 - 2

Chapter 2 - 2

I walked at a fast pace to where Mom was, she only needed to pack a suitcase.

"Did you hear that? I asked, feeling a knot in my stomach.

Mom frowned.

"What thing? She asked, walking to the front door.

Being inside the house is not a bad idea. I followed her and closed the door behind me, making sure there was nothing left outside.

"A howl ..." I murmured under my breath. My mom turned to see me with a frown. Apparently he didn't hear it.

"Howl? I didn't hear anything." she answered. Could it be that I imagined it? It can't be, it sounded very real.

"I heard it ..., Mom," I called her, she turned to see me "There are wolves here." She stared at me for a few seconds and then started laughing.

"Please, Carolina, I didn't mean it so literally when we were driving in the car. There are no wolves here, maybe what you heard was a ... Dog." She went up the stairs. "Get ready for tomorrow, you have school."

Dammit. Something tells me that tomorrow will be a very long day. Mom and I had left the things in the rooms, tomorrow afternoon I would have to organize them, this week would be a lot of work for us.

The house inside was not bad at all. It had a large beige sofa and two small ones, in the center there was a small table with nothing on top. It had a somewhat large television that, when you saw it, you also looked at the lake through the window that was right next to it.

The next morning I didn't want to get up but I did it badly. Mom called a mechanic very early to check the car that we had left in the middle of nowhere, luckily he did and now it was like new. As I was finishing breakfast, I put my plate in the sink and went up to my room to brush my teeth, grabbed my backpack, and went downstairs. Mom was waiting for me in the car, today was her first day at work.

I went outside and the smell of the forest was felt. The only thing that could be heard around here was the sound of little birds and the occasional animal. It is there that I remember the howl I heard, and yes it was real.

"Carolina, you'll be late!" Mom urged me.

I came out of my thoughts and got into the co-pilot seat. My new school awaited me. Mom used the car in gear, we had to travel a few kilometers. We were going halfway, in that the same cars from yesterday left the detour that I saw. Mom slowed down a bit to let them go forward.

"Surely one of them will be your partner." She whispered, speeding up. I just hope not. After a while we had already reached the center of town, people began to open their stores.

Mom stopped in front of the huge building called a school. I admit I'm a little nervous. The cars that came in front of us parked in a parking lot. But they still haven't come out.

"See you later ..." I said goodbye to her, getting out of the car and closing the door.

"Make lots of friends!" She exclaimed from behind me.

By God, I'm not in elementary school. I gave her a warning look, she just smiled and left.

The students began to arrive, the luxury cars did not wait. Before entering through the front door, I observed the boy who was getting out of the car that was behind us yesterday. He was wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt and his hair was disheveled.

God, I came to join a modeling agency. That boy was perfect. His gaze met mine. It was deep, captivating. He had a black jacket on him and without taking his eyes off me he started to put it on. I averted my eyes so that he wouldn't think I was in awe of his beauty. I bet he must be the typical popular guy here.

I entered the school. I felt my heart beat a thousand an hour. What if I did not miss was the strange sensation that I felt inside me when we looked at each other. I forgot what happened and went looking for direction. I needed to find my schedule.

I turned into a hall and there it was. I knocked on the door.

"Come in," she heard himself say from the other side. I opened the door to find a lady in her forties, wearing glasses and her hair in a tight bun.

"Good morning, I'm new, I'm here for my schedule."

She raised her eyes.

"Yeah, they said you'd come today." She searched a folder for the papers and handed them to me. I quickly took them. "Good luck on your first day." She smiled and then went back to his business.

"Well thanks" I hesitated. I left the address while reading my schedule, I had Spanish first time and then history. Boring classes. The hallways were full of students, all chatting animatedly with their friends or crumbs. I don't know if I'll make a friend around here. I looked around for the boy in the car but couldn't find him.

I climbed the stairs to the second floor and looked for my living room. 5B. 5B. 5B. I found it. There were no students, partly I appreciate it, I sat in the last chair in a corner where there was a huge window overlooking the parking lot. Then I looked at him. There he was with his friends leaning on his car. There were girls around them. He had one at a time.

What did I think, if they must be the most popular in this school, and the most womanizing, I imagine. But he was kind of gone. Thinking of something else.

"Hi ..." someone said behind my back. I turned around immediately, bringing my hand to my chest. I had been scared.

"You scared me" I said to the girl who sat next to me.

"I'm sorry ..." she whispered. "You're new, right?" she ask.

"No, I have studied here all my life but apparently I am invisible because no one, until today, had seen me." I replied sarcastically.

She laughed.

"I like your sarcasm. By the way, I'm Anne." she was presented.

Anne was slim, brown hair, and very pretty. I think she and I are going to get along really well. I know this because I have the gift of knowing who are good people and who are not. And Anne was you measure and sincere. Although I could also perceive some fear in her. Insecure.

"Carolina." I smiled. The bell rang announcing the entrance to classes. The students began to arrive, some frowned at me, others smiled at me, others didn't even turn to look at me.

It was time to go to the cafeteria, Anne and I were on the road when a girl pushed Anne making her stagger.

"Hey, watch where you walk." I snapped. The girl turned to me, I supposed, is one of those damned plastic that believed themselves superior to the others. How I hate them. She wore a short made of light pastel pink fabric and a shirt that had a white inside. Her jacket was also the same color as the shorts and her blond hair was loose. Her hair was long and straight, her airs were obviously of greatness and he had that typical smile that made him inferior to the others.

Her pearl necklace did not go unnoticed.

"Excuse me?" She crossed her arms.

I smiled.

"We apologize, just don't do it again. Goodbye"

As we turned around, we found three more girls blocking our way. One was tall brunette, the other was black hair and a little shorter than the other. And the last girl was something more higher and it even seemed that she was the center of the group. She was redheaded and my height.

"Carolina, you wouldn't have said anything to her. These girls are dangerous." Anne whispered under her breath. The poor thing was afraid. But not me. I am not afraid of them. The hallways were lonely because everyone was in the cafeteria. I turned to the major plastic.

"Can't you alone with me that you have to call your bodyguards?" I asked. She opened her mouth in amazement. Apparently he didn't expect that reaction.

"I haven't seen you around here, I suppose you're new." She leaned a little closer. I raised an eyebrow and clapped my hands.

"How smart you are ..." I scoffed. The girl became more enraged.

"I see they haven't told you. Here I am the boss ... And my boyfriend, of course, we are the most respected and you ... You are going to learn to respect us" She raised his hand and stamped it on my cheek making my face turn.

I looked at her with boiling blood. This one pays me. I raised my hand and also stamped it on her cheek. Shit, it hurt. She couldn't stand it and leaned over me, both of them falling to the ground.
