The doorbell rang and Adrian was already frustrated so he left her and went to get the door. She took that opportunity and ran out of the bathroom.
A beautiful yet I'll mannered lady squashed into the room. Adrian's expression changed as he looked at her questioningly.
The lady blew our bubble gum loudly while staring daggers at Eve.
Although Eve had already been put to birth, he delicate features still stood out and her body seemed to be well rounded in the important places. she eyed her curves with envy. the attendant uniform couldn't have her curves. What were they doing inside for such a long time? She had knocked on the door for a long time.
"Who is she?"
"She is nobody, she is just a hotel attendant".
what?.... What did she hear? She choked with tears and ran out of the room.
Adrian was surprised at her reaction so he ignored her.
Ella planned to settle the score with her later.
she took a seat while observing everything in the room.
" When are you coming back to Mexico?"
"Am yet to be sure about that".
" Or you have a woman here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, then who was that? condescend yourself to have an affair with a hotel attendant? Really"
"Why do you always think the worst about me?"
"Do I? Maybe you are not doing your best".
" What do you want?"
"I need money, mom has to undergo surgery, and my dad is in the police net because of gambling. Am short of my stuff and my brother needs money for his school fees"
"Do I look like a bank to you?"
"Am not sure of that but you would also not be able to bear the consequences if the video gets out", she replied heartlessly.
" So how much are we talking about?"
"about ten million US dollars"
"Where....", he held himself.
" What?", waited for him to say something.
"Never mind". He took out his phone and transferred the money to her. He was at his wit's end.
when she received the money, she grinned but he ignored her.
" I happen to have no place to lay my head"
"You can sleep on the street for all I care", he shoved her out of the door and slammed it shut.
Damn! He regretted that night.
Three years ago.....
Adrian checked his postal box and came across a letter. The letter dated back to 3 years ago. The seal and the letter seemed
to look old.
Adams Adrian's friend patted his back after seeing how pale his expression was after reading the letter.
" What does it say?"
"Well, as expected of rich people. I have been dumped".
" As funny as that may sound, you shouldn't get worried over her".
"That's because you don't know what falling in love means and you have never fallen in love"
"Stop it", Adams growled.
"Why didn't you send me a message when she came by. I would have tried to reach her, she wouldn't have left me"
"She didn't love you and you are still blind to see it?"
Adams tried to touch him but he tugged his hands away forcefully and went out.
"Just wake up dude".
She came by six years ago, he wondered what she had to say to him that day before leaving.
He had received an urgent call about his mother's health and he had to stay there to sort out the house issues and the mom's health. During this period, he lost contact with Eve.
Back to the present.....
Adrian wiped his face and picked up a shirt.
The air around the hotel seems good, he decided to take a walk.
He opened the door and realized that an unknown lady was about to knock on the door.
Riya's hand hung in the air as she looked like deer caught in a headlight.
She was internally gushing over the man in front of her. She would never get enough of his handsome face.
" Hey, I was about to check up on you. I noticed you didn't order anything, is everything alright?" She was about to press herself towards him and Adrian evaded her. she fell hopelessly and sprained her ankle.
"Ouch", she moaned in pain.
Adrian was about to take the elevator when he stopped in his track. That sounded like a real moan from pleasure. He then took notice of her short uniform and the breasts were saying hello to the world.
" Do you need help there?"
"Of course I do", she bent like she was in pain and discomfort.
Adrian squatted before her and she drooled on herself.
" I have taste ok, I don't just pick up anything from the trash bin. If this service of yours is included in the services of the hotel then I pass okay. Get your cheap self out of my presence".The glare from him froze her sense of reasoning and before she knew what was happening, Adrian had already taken the elevator and the ding sound woke her from her dazed state.
Eve had taken another elevator and she didn't bump into Adrian. seeing how lost and pitiful Riya looked made her give her a double look.
What was she thinking? Seducing a guest in a broad daylight? She sure has the nerves.
Eve slotted in the room card and gained access to the room. she flicked the switch and light flooded the entire room.
It's all because of her right? All because of this bitch. She had always known that she is a slut. Only vixens would have such beautiful curves and faces.
Eve had thought he would be here but then he dropped the room card downstairs and requested a thorough clean-up of the room. She hurried up with her work and when she passed by his walk-in closet. In the closet, she caught a glimpse of a particular shirt.
She found herself opening the door and like a robot she walked directly to where the shirt was.
When she touched the shirt, memories she had buried surged within her and she choked on her tears. How could she forget the beautiful moments they shared? She had given him this shirt on their first date.
"I see that this hotel can't train its staff well".
The familiar deep voice sounded just beside her ears and she froze. When did he come in?
" Do you like the shirt?"
He whispered to her ear such that his minty breath fanned her. Her earlobe was beginning to get hot, like really hot.
He smelt her hair and the scent was too familiar. He impulsively licked her earlobe, a moan almost escaped but she clenched her teeth. She had her eyes closed all this while and when she heard a devilish chuckle her eyes snapped open.
Darn it! She was embarrassed for words. How could she be this loose for a mother of two? Did she miss him so much and looked beyond his betrayal? The events of the afternoon came rushing back and she pushed him away.
She adjusted her face mask, Adrian didn't know why he found her attractive despite wearing the mask and doesn't bother to take it away.
He quite enjoyed this hide and seek game. He held her hands, they were so petite that they were enclosed in his large ones. It gave him a sense of familiarity and he couldn't explain what was going on with him...
"Will you be here tomorrow as early as possible?"
"Why do you ask?"
"I want to see you before going out tomorrow".
When Eve remembered how he had called her a nobody, she flung his hands away and walked out from him.
Adrian didn't know what he had said wrong. Did he say the wrong thing? He felt like hanging around her all the time. Was it so difficult to ask for?
Even was emotionally down when she got home. Riya had been waiting outside for her
" Hey, girl, What's the problem?"
"What took you so long?"
"Ummm I ran into some issues. Okay, how are my babies?"
she was about to step onto the porch,
"Do you think it's wise to throw yourself on a man?"
"I do not understand"
"You are filled with baggage already"
"I can't remember having any squabble with you".
" I am interested in the guest in room 2022. so quit parading yourself before him".

She stormed into the house and meet the kids already asleep.
She took a shower and gave each of them a peck.
she was about to lie down when an aggressive knock sounded on the door.
