Simon had thought of how he could remove Aro and the other trash from Volturi. After talking with Jane he understood that Volturi was a necessary existence and to keep the vampires in check it had to strong.
Simon got up and went towards the documentary section in Volturi he needed to know how he could take Aro down and who would support him in doing this.
He went through alot of them at long last he reached near the point when Volturi was formed.
Volturi were founded by Aro, Caius and Marcus, along with Athenodora. They were later joined by Sulpicia and Marcus's wife Didyme, who was also Aro's sister. The coven originated in Greece and proceeded to gather vampires with useful talents to build up their power, and eventually relocated to Volterra, Italy. When the coven became strong enough, the Volturi usurped control of the vampire world from the Romanian coven, the original ruling coven, and presented the laws of prohibiting vampires from being noticed by humans. After the Romanians were defeated in the century-long war, their next target was the Egyptians. Their power increased incredibly after recruiting vampires with extremely powerful gifts, and subsequently made the coven untouchable. When the Romanian coven tried to regain control, they were easily defeated.
At one time, Marcus and his wife Didyme grew tired of the coven's warring lifestyle and planned on leaving. Aro gave them his support; however, later Didyme was killed which prevented Marcus from leaving. Marcus spent a majority of time trying to find the murderer, when he failed, he became suicidal. At this point, Aro could no longer see his friend in distress and had Chelsea use the power to manipulate relationships to keep Marcus loyal to the Volturi to give him the will to live on.
The death of Didyme prompted Caius and Aro to ensure tight security surveillance to their mates.
Simon snorted he knew what the Volturi was capable and now he had understood what felt wrong when he was talking to Marcus about marriage. Marcus could help him not only in taking Aro down but also stabilizing the Volturi afterwards.
He thought about how to convince Marcus to let him remove the limbic section of his brain to regenerate it so that the loyalty towards Volturi could be removed.
He failed to come up with anything as Marcus being loyal to Volturi would report Simon or kill him before he can do so. In the end he could only think of taking him by surprise.
Simon started to monitor Marcus inorder to find the right time to do his job.
As he saw his chance he opened a vial and started to sneak up on Marcus.
"So you found the truth."
Simon was shocked he was sure that he didn't give out his presence in any way.
"Come out already, you're really underestimating us old vampires."
Simon knew that there was no other choice, he appeared in front of Marcus. Both of them looked at each other.
"That's right. Aro was the one who killed her."
None of them showed any change in their facial expression. Marcus talked about the death of his wife in a nonchalant tone meanwhile Simon saw the rage, sorrow and helplessness in his eyes.
"After I and my wife Didyme grew tired of the coven's warring lifestyle and planned on leaving. Aro became upset by this and secretly killed Didyme to prevent me from leaving. All because he found my power much more useful than his sister's. I was no fool, I had realized that it was Aro who did it, I made many attempts to kill him or myself inorder to at least make him mad for killing his sister. But Aro had Chelsea she used the power to manipulate relationships and tried to keep me loyal to the Volturi." Marcus recounted the whole story. "I assume Aro tried to do the same to you."
Simon nodded.
"How are not affected by the ability?"
"What makes you think I'm not?"
"If you were I'd be reported, dead or at least injured."
"Makes sense. That's because I made Chelsea undo her ability on me."
"How?" Simon was shocked he couldn't believe that it just happened.
"I used the reason Chelsea is in Volturi. The one who brought Corin into Volturi was me so her loyalty lies with me."
"Then why didn't you attack Aro before. I'm sure that. through Corin you'd be able to get alot of helpers."
"That's because I never used Corin in that way. The reason it all started was because I was dissatisfied with the way Aro did things. Only thinking of war or how to become more strong. That also doesn't mean I don't have other followers who are with me unhappy with Aro."
Simon stared at Marcus, who had plotting against Aro right under his nose.
"Join me we'll make a new Volturi."
Marcus offered Simon his hand.
