Chapter 25 - Another one, thank you

Caesar waited by the door that was guarded by five fully armed guards. He heard that Boban personally guaranteed their family's death if they let anyone through, including Caesar.

So, he waited. Caesar didn't actually need to go inside, so he waited for Boban to come to him.

After a minute, a disheveled and sweating fat man came to the door. He immediately closed the door, not letting Caesar take even one look inside.

Boban looked like he was caught off guard with Caesar's appearance since they agreed that he would only visit once a week.

"Haa…haa…W-what are you doing here?" Boban panted while a servant wiped a sweat from his forehead.

"I'm in need of a few ingredients. I'm sure you have them," Caesar said.

Boban frowned. He was already losing a ton of money by giving Caesar free ingredients every week. Did he think that these ingredients grow from trees, Boban thought.

"You have to be kidding me. I'm already in the negative this week," he said, wanting to smack Caesar in the head. If it wasn't for the bomb still in his mansion, he would have already fed Caesar's head to the pigs. "Get them from somewhere else. You will only get something from me every week, or did you forget our agreement?"

"Hahahaha," Caesar laughed. "Do I look like I care?"

Caesar's shamelessness knew no bounds, which made Boban speechless. If you asked his business partners, they would tell you that Boban was the most shameless person they knew. But even Boban would relinquish that title to Caesar.

"You are pushing your boundaries, Caesar." Boban said in anger. "Do you think I will let you use me like this? I'll kill you right now!"

Boban shouted those threatening words and immediately ordered his guards to attack him. "Teach this guy a lesson."

Boban laughed to himself. He deserved this–did he think that he could take advantage of the smartest businessman, he thought to himself.

Once Caesar was beaten into oblivion, he would learn his lesson. But that wouldn't be enough for Boban. He would torture Caesar until he would voluntarily give up the bomb's location.

Then once Caesar thinks he is safe, then Boban would torture him more. After Caesar gives the bomb location, he would laugh at Caesar and reveal that he never planned to let him go.

He would keep Caesar in the basement and keep him barely alive. He would torture Caesar whenever he had a bad day, whenever he had a bad deal, and whenever he felt like it!

With those commands, the guards grabbed towards Caesar, with two guards intending on trapping his arms, another two blocking his escape, and one readying to punch some sense into Caesar.

Caesar smiled as he looked at the status of these guards. Three of these guards only had an average of 20 on their stats, meaning that they were still not heavily trained by Boban. However, the other 2 were veterans with these kinds of stats.

[Ichi's status]

[Vitality: 23]

[Strength: 25]

[Dexterity: 27 -4]

[Intelligence: 19]

[Knii's status]

[Vitality: 23]

[Strength: 25]

[Dexterity: 27 -4]

[Intelligence: 20]

These two had similar stats because they were both trained the same way by Boban. The negative 4 on their stats must be because they were wearing fully-kitted armors that hampered their movement.

Caesar observed their movements and saw that they were not putting their all on their movements. They thought that 5 vs. 1 was too easy, therefore they didn't need to output their full power.

But that was only because Caesar's stats do not come from his physique, but from his level up and his bonus.

[Caesar's status]

[Vitality: 15+9.5]

[Strength: 13+9.5]

[Dexterity: 14+9.5]

[Intelligence: 9,999]

Before he traveled here, Caesar made sure that he had the right preparations. He already had a hunch that things would quickly turn physical once he displayed his shamelessness to Boban. He knew Boban wouldn't say yes easily.

So, he went back to the bank and withdrew all of his money and exchanged them for jewelry. He now had 600,000 coins worth of value on his body in the shape of three black rings, one golden neckchain, and a golden pocket watch.

So now, he had 950,000 coins worth in his body equal to a 9.5 boost in all of his stats.

Caesar was grateful that he had the extra .5 that he got from the carriage. Why would it still be active even though he isn't on the carriage? It's because of the whistle he had on his pocket.

This whistle was given to him by Silas. 'Please whistle whenever you need my service, sir'

It seemed that this whistle was recognized to be a part of the carriage, so technically, he still had the carriage on his body. Nobody would expect that a flimsy body like his would hide a 24.5 strength stat. Especially the guards.

Within a few footsteps, Caesar immediately moved behind two guards without them reacting. Then, he smacked their heads with each other, knocking them out instantly.

The third guard was stunned, he didn't think that Caesar would be this fast. And even if he was, how did he knock out two of his associates with one move? They may not be strong, but they definitely weren't weaklings.

Caesar quickly punched towards the third guard, and at this point, seeing two of his associates on the ground, the guard was in full defense mode.

The guard raised both his arms, but no attack came. From the slit in between his arms, the guard saw that Caesar bent down and kicked his legs, instantly making him fall down.

Then, Caesar straddled the guard and readied to punch his face. The guard used his arms to block again, confident that Caesar's punches wouldn't go through.

But reality quickly betrayed him when he saw Caesar's fist blowing past his arms. The first thing he felt was his arms in tremendous pain, but he quickly ignored that.

There's no way that this punch would knock me out, right?

That was the last thought in the man's mind as Caesar's punch immediately knocked him out.

Ichi and Knii were both startled seeing three of their guards knocked down this easily. Even Boban couldn't help but be afraid of Caesar, seeing his brutal hands. He immediately went behind the guard in fear of Caesar coming for him.

The guards frowned as they circled Caesar. They looked at him warily, but their eyes couldn't help but look at Caesar's physique. His arms didn't even have a hint of biceps, but they saw his arm produce power similar to theirs. It was impossible, they thought.

The two guards were trained together, and with one look, they both charged towards Caesar at the same time. Caesar would be forced to dodge back, then they would be able to trap him, they thought.

But seeing them attack, Caesar advanced towards them instead of retreating. Ichi and Knii were both surprised, but they were still in the upper hand. They both made a grab towards Caesar's body.

Caesar smiled. 'Giving me your hand for free? And here I thought I would have slight trouble with this.'

Caesar grabbed Ichi's arm and wrapped it around his shoulders, using Ichi's body weight to throw his whole body around. Knii was stunned to see his 250 pounds associate being thrown around like he was nothing!

Ichi saw the world turn. And before he could even process it, he fell to his back, looking up at Caesar's devilish face. Then, he saw Caesar raising his fist high up in the air.

Why was his fist getting bigger, he thought.

And that was his last thought as he was knocked out by Caesar's punch. One down, one to go.

Knii's fear took over his mind. He couldn't think properly as his world view was being thrown away by the appearance of Caesar. There was no way four of the guards would be knocked down like that! No way!

Was he truly the devil? The guards nicknamed him the 'devil' when he came here last time, and they only did so as a joke. But it seemed like he truly was the devil with his devilish powers.

Caesar didn't have to do much as he punched the defenseless Knii in the face. He fell to the ground, still with the look of fear frozen in his face.

Caesar panted, then quickly looked at Boban.

Boban flinched seeing Caesar's eyes. He didn't think that his well-trained guards would be this useless. I should have trained them more and put 10 more people here, he thought.

"Do you want more?" Caesar said as he walked towards Boban slowly.

Boban fell to the ground and crawled back as he saw the devil coming near him. "Don't come here! I'll blow this whistle and 20 more guards will come here!" he said with his back against the wall.

Caesar bent down and whispered in his ear. "I would have given you some of the bomb locations in exchange for the new ingredients…"

Boban immediately regretted this whole thing. He thought that Caesar would shamelessly get the new ingredients for free, so he quickly got defensive and attacked him.

"You should have told me that in the first place. I accept that–"

Before Boban could remedy the situation, Caesar interrupted him.

"But things are different now. You attacked me, didn't you?" Caesar asked nicely.

Boban opened his mouth, wanting to reason with Caesar, but Caesar's words were the truth. Now, he had no choice but to accept his punishment. He had a hunch what Caesar's next words were going to be.

"It's only natural that I get the ingredients for free, don't I?"
