Chapter 2
Re: A whole new world!
MCU Earth
Year 2010
Culver University, Virginia
In a private place of Samuel Sterns aka Mr. blue, a man laid unconscious, after injecting what was supposed to be a cure for his 'situation'.
Only for it to be countered with gamma-radiated anti-bodies when he turned literally green, and big, and angry after the injection.
That's right, he turned to the Hulk. After countering the cure however, he turned back to normal and lost consciousness.
Inside Bruce's inner self, 2 souls and a green mass of energy (Gamma) were present. One of them was the original Bruce Banner himself, a genius with 7 PhD's, and the second soul was Endou, otherwise known as 'the devil' in his first life and Endou on his second and latest life where he lived for thousands of years alone.
Both of them were currently asleep and unaware that their souls were moving towards each other.
As soon as they made contact, Banner's soul disintegrated and was merged with Endou's soul.
Memories from the man he now knew as Bruce Banner was plugged into Endou's mind.
From this moment on, he is no longer just the devil or Endou. He is now Bruce Banner and more.
Meanwhile the green mass of energy (Gamma) was also slowly being absorbed albeit at a snail's pace.
When he opened his eyes, first thing he noticed was Hulk's figure staring at him.
"Banner!!!" Hulk lunged at him.
Endou with his new senses immediately moved away to dodge Hulk whose momentum sent himself away since he was unable to touch his target.
Frustrated, Hulk roared and charged again yet halted in his steps as soon as he looked Banner in his eyes which was now glowing in red.
"Let's talk, shall we?" Bruce proposed to which Hulk defiantly opposed defiantly.
Yet no matter how many times he tried or forced it; he was unable to do anything else as he stood there motionless.
In the end Hulk snorted but agreed nonetheless.
"So, why do you want to harm me that bad?"
"Hulk hates Banner!"
"Why do you hate me?"
"Hulk caged. Hulk does not like being caged. Hulk strong. Banner weak!"
"You sure about that big guy? Last I remember, you're currently unable to move right?"
Hulk roared in denial but was unable to do anything in front of Bruce's eyes.
Bruce smirked.
"Let me change your perspective a bit, Hulk-kun." Bruce's momentum raised as his eyes' pattern change into an hourglass, his mangekyo sharingan activated and his voice a bit mischievous.
.
.
.
When Bruce finally woke up, the first image he saw was a beautiful woman looking at him full of concern.
'Betty'
He thought.
"Bruce? Are you okay? How do you feel?" she asked with a bit of uneasiness.
"I'm okay and, I actually feel fine."
"Sure?" She asked again.
"Sure."
"Thank God. Do you think you are finally cured?"
"Are you talking about the Hulk?"
Betty nodded.
"Unfortunately, the Hulk is still inside me." This made Betty sad and apologetic at Bruce.
"Fortunately, I was able to talk to the kid. Now we're past our grievances and made peace with each other."
Betty gave him a confused look.
Bruce chucked.
"It means Hulk won't come out unless I want him to or he wants to but, with my permission."
"Huh." Betty answered with skeptical look on her face. Seeing this, Bruce smirked again.
"Hey Hulk, say Hi to Betty." Bruce's head turned green and became big showing Hulk's face.
"Hi Betty." Hulk spoke like a shy kid only that his voice was very deep then immediately reverted back to Bruce.
"Looks like someone is shy in front of you." Bruce commented playfully to Betty's and Stern's shocked faces.
"H- how- wh- what's-" Sterns was unable to form his sentence while Betty remained still.
"I don't actually know what happened, but it must be because of what you put inside me. But instead of curing me completely it somehow made me able to talk with Hulk, I guess?"
"Now, where's your restroom? I need a moment." Bruce asked towards Sterns who guided him to it.
Once inside, Bruce used the Shadow Clone Jutsu to create multiple clones of himself. There were at least 20 or more clones.
"You know what to do." Bruce commanded and the clones nodded their heads and all of them used the Transformation Jutsu simultaneously. Their goal? Gather information about this world.
As soon as Bruce opened the comfort room, Blurs which were invisible to the naked eye came out in succession to do their tasks while the original Bruce came back to where Betty and Sterns were talking.
Not even a moment later when he reunited with the two of them footsteps and several presences resounded through Bruce's senses which made him turned serious.
'They must be here for me, or more specifically, Hulk.'
However, Bruce didn't do anything and remained in the room with Betty and Sterns.
As the soldiers lead by Blonsky made it to the room, what they saw was a flattened operating table with Bruce standing and acting perfectly normal like nothing's wrong with Betty and Stern beside him, both of whom wearing shocked expressions to the soldiers suddenly barging in.
"No!" Emil was the first react.
"What have you done?" he came towards Bruce, anger obviously painted on his face. Using the back of his rifle he hit Bruce into unconsciousness and have his team deliver Bruce to the General.
The soldiers moved in coordination immediately suppressing Bruce while some were apprehending Betty carefully, she was after all, the General's daughter.
Once Betty and Bruce were out of the room, only Blonsky and Sterns were left.
"Now, start talking." He asked while pointing his rifle at Sterns.
The scene happened as foretold in the original timeline. Blonksy turns into abomination and Bruce is taken with Betty on a copper escorted by a team with General Ross himself present.
"Where is Blonsky?" asked the General while the copper prepares for take off.
"He, stayed behind, Sir."
"Why would-"
He was unable to finish his sentence when it suddenly quaked.
"What was that?"
"Sir?"
"Well? What is it?"
"One of our own just reported it was a giant monster." Just hearing the report brought complicated expressions on the General's face.
"And it wasn't Green Sir."
"Of course, it's not. We currently have custody of him and is currently sleeping at the back."
"What do we do sir?"
The General contemplated for a moment before saying:
"Help me wake up the Hulk."
Meanwhile
A Brown Giant Humanoid with Bones protruding on its back and elbows was rampaging through the streets of Harlem. Innocent lives were taken indiscriminately through the monster's onslaught against the army who were trying their best to defend the fleeing civilians at the cost of their own lives.
Screams filled the streets, buildings destroyed, vehicles flying and making meat pastes of humans nearby who were running everywhere in panic.
"Yes! This is the power!" Screamed the giant.
"All of you are nothing against me. Bring me Hulk instead!" He demanded to the soldiers trying their best but failing to hold him down.
The giant was unstoppable. Lives were taken. Properties were damaged.
And the giant continued getting closer to more people in the city.
Meanwhile on a copper enroute to the abomination's location.
"What do you want, Ross?" Bruce asked. As soon as he woke up and saw General Ross in front of him, he asked.
"I need your help. And it looks like you can lend it to me right now." After talking to Betty, he was able to know that Bruce was now capable of talking to his Monster Side or Hulk side, in other words, Bruce has control now over the Hulk.
"And why should I help someone who hunted me down for a long time now?"
"Because a lot more people will die. Innocent ones. You and I both know they don't deserve this."
Bruce's expression was still not convinced. And so, he didn't respond. Understanding the other party's intention, General Ross decided.
"Fine, what are your terms for you to help us stop that monster."
"No more manhunt towards me."
"That is fine."
"I need a residence."
"But what if you lose control."
"If you've talked to Betty, then you should know that won't happen anytime soon. I did show it to her earlier."
Ross stared at Bruce for a moment and said:
"You've changed."
"Yes, the cure that Sterns put in me didn't just let me be able to suppress the Hulk but also rid myself of any traits that can hinder me. The point is, I no longer feel intimidated nor easily get agitated."
"I can see that."
"Well? Do we have a deal? I help you stop the giant monster while you stop chasing me and provide me a home?"
"Deal." Ross agreed but, in his mind, he didn't. That subtle lie failed to hide from Bruce's eyes though.
Manhattan, Harlem
People were screaming from fright, pain and loss as a giant brown monster called the Abomination laid waste to their homes. To the people on the streets, young and old who were all in despair while the soldiers were helpless in stopping it while evacuating those they can.
"Bring me Hulk!!!" Roared the monster.
No sooner than he did something dropped from the sky and sunk on the concrete ground. The rubbles where the thing dropped moved a bit before they were blasted by a green giant fist that came out of the ground.
Hulk made his entry by coming out of it and roared towards the abomination.
The brown giant smirked upon hearing him and said:
"Hulk, finally!"
He started sprinting towards his rival as did the Hulk.
'Alright Hulk, let's take this fight towards fewer people and that would be just in front of you, continue that direction and dodge him first.'
'But- 'Hulk was about to disagree with the voice in his head who was Bruce talking to him but was cut off.
'Don't worry buddy, once the stage is set, he's all yours.'
'Fine.' Hulk grunted but agreed nonetheless.
In the original timeline, the two would've clashed right then and there but in here, Hulk did something which the Abomination was unable to expect. He led him towards unpopulated area or to an area where the people have mostly evacuated. But the Abomination couldn't possibly think that straight so he thought differently.
"Stop running like a coward Hulk. Fight like a man!"
Hulk then stopped upon hearing him or so he thought. But they were already in an area with no people around. Still though, Abomination smirked thinking that he successfully taunted the Hulk.
He even gestured his hands for Hulk to start attacking.
'Well, what are you waiting for Hulk? Smash him as he wishes.'
"Hulk Smash!!!" Hulk roared and charged towards Abomination.
And so, two giants brawled in an unpopulated area of Harlem. Hulk initiated with a flurry of punches to almost every part of the Abomination who tanked all of the attack until he was down.
Another punch to the face and the Abomination spit out and asked. "Is that it?"
Hulk charged his fist in anger but was unable to swing when Abomination kicked him upward. The brown giant charged to where Hulk fell and started raining down punches and kicks like a trained soldier would. Hulk who was technically a kid was unable to retaliate.
'I thought you were going to smash him? Why are you the one being smashed instead? Didn't you say Hulk is strong and I'm weak? If I was the one fighting him right now, I bet I wouldn't even sweat.' Bruce spoke inside Hulk's head. The pain feeding him more anger and Bruce is adding even more to it by irritating him.
"Shut up!" Hulk shouted out loud in anger and accidentally punched the Abomination away a few distance.
"Hulk strong! Hulk smash monster!" Roared Hulk as his strength increased subconsciously in response to his rising anger. His body grew bigger and greener as his eyes glowed green for a moment.
Hulk rushed to Abomination who was now getting up. Hulk throws a punch which Abomination tried to block but to his surprise, Hulk's strength wasn't like it was before. This led to Hulk getting more punches in pulverizing Abomination to the ground.
In a desperate attempt, Abomination was able to dodge and rolled away when Hulk was about to deliver an even stronger blow which needed him to halt his motion to gather strength. Abomination used that window despite the pain to roll over and gather his bearings.
The two were now looking at each other. Hulk was roaring at Abomination in anger while Abomination was looking at Hulk in irritation. 'How did he become stronger than earlier?'
Hulk roared at him and he answered. "Come on!"
The two giants charged towards each other once more. Hulk with his wild swings and Abomination with his hand-to-hand combat as a soldier. One stronger but relies fully on instinct and anger while the other follows his experience and training despite the lesser strength.
At first Abomination contained Hulk's attack and was even able to retaliate back. However, as time goes on, Hulk becomes more angrier when his fist missed or if Abomination was able to deflect and punch him back. Soon enough, Hulk's pressure raised higher and higher shocking Abomination himself.
"How is this possible?!!" Abomination asked as he dodged another blow and kicked Hulk in the head but was unmoved. This time Hulk was the one who spit out and spoke.
"Is that it?" Hulk asked and Abomination's face which was already deformed, became even more unrecognizable by the sheer insult he felt.
"You dare mock me!?" Abomination who was still able to retain reason felt something snap as he lost to his extreme emotion. Abomination roared at Hulk who roared back at him and the two clashed in anger.
It was an even match at first as Abomination's strength was also fueled by his emotion. But over time, slowly, he was losing the clash and clarity came back to him.
'this, is not possible. I was clearly stronger than him. How is he growing stronger even now?' Abomination's question inside his mind could not be answered as the last punch from Hulk took out his consciousness.
With the enemy defeated below him, Hulk lifted his right foot and stomp on Abomination before roaring to the heavens.
"Rooooooaaaaaaaarrr!!!!!!!!!!!!"
