Now Barry and Romeo had gathered almost all the parts I needed to go back. Barry was fat and stout and although he was not more than five feet he weighed 80 kilos. Romeo on the other hand was tall and lanky. Both of them were a good combo as they could both reach spaces the other could not. The world mas mostly ash and piles of junk. I had not used my real name as I thought it was better to keep my identity a secret to protect the timeline. I thought I would reveal it right as I left for my time. Well slightly behind as I still had some things to fix. The village chief Clark was really distant towards me although he had a friendly attitude he had a weird expression which I recently started noticing had started to becoming paler by the day. I had no idea why he feared me so much, however I figured it was probably because he did not want to get infected by an unidentified disease which does not have a cure in that time. Well, whatever the reason this made me uncomfortable.
A few months later after the machine was fixed, I bid my farewell and as I started the time machine, I decided to let them know my name. I owed then atleast that much. As i told them my real name I could see all of their happy expressions turn into ones with horror.
I was back to the time I wanted to be in, right before I met Emma, however there was a problem. The me from that time was just standing there. I contemplated if taking my own life in the past would kill the present me as well and in the end decided to faint myself.
As i was walking towards the other me, Emma spotted me. I had never felt like this before. A cocktail of feelings and years worth of memories flooding my brain. I could not comprehend anything and everything was happening so fast I didn't even know how to react.
