Ragul, one of the new bench-mates seemed like a beam-boy who was over-grown. He was 6 feet tall stout boy and seemed like a big man. Karthik seemed like a half-human and half-alien avatar. He too was an over-grown tall boy with a lean body. The class teacher appointed a bench leader to take care rest of the students on the bench in studies. There were 8 benches in the classroom. In that 5 benches were allotted for boys and 3 benches were allotted for girls in the classroom. On the last bench, Yokesh was appointed as the bench leader to take care of Ragul and Karthik in studies.
On the next day, Yokesh tried to make Ragul and Karthik as friend. On the process, he found that Ragul who seemed like a beam-boy was a child-like boy filled with innocence. His physical appearance seemed terrific but actually, he was a fun-filled soft boy easily attached with anyone.
The other boy named, Karthik was a hilarious person. He was comedian of the indigo section. He was filled with fun-factors. So, the jackpot hit for the bench leader, Yokesh. He became the ruler of that last bench and hero of the indigo section.
The main concept for the bench leader was the one who study well was admitted to help the poor pupil in studies. So, the bench leader was appointed based on the topper's list of the indigo section. After the 1st mid-term exam, Yokesh became the identity of the indigo section. The competitions on studies among the toppers were on fire.
On the other side, Yokesh lost his friends. He separated from his friends Santhosh and Harish. But Santhosh and Harish were allowed to sit on the same bench with the class teacher, Mrs. Lakshmi's permission. She didn't allow Yokesh to sit along with them because he performed well as a bench leader by improving his team in studies. Santhosh and Harish were sat on the third bench. Though both of them were toppers, Harish was appointed as a bench leader.
