A baton in the hand of the guard in charge of the worst cell of the DC Correctional Facility made ongoing noises against the bars while he went back and forth three times in front of the cell.
There were two men inside, a bulky one that looked like a wounded dangerous bull, and a skinny man that was bandaged all over. His hands, legs, and four of his ribs were broken. Yet he managed to continuously flinch with the ongoing threatening noise that the bars were making.
Any man who passed by knew that the younger man definitely did not belong in a cell in that state, he needed to be lying on a comfortable bed in a hospital and undergoing tests while getting the medical attention required for someone suffering that much damage.
But that cell was infamous.
