George and two board members glanced at their watches simultaneously.
"Where is she," George's deep voice was just over a whisper.
Cynthia was half an hour late to the brunch now, and George has been calling her nonstop for the last 45 minutes. At first, it was ringing but Cynthia wasn't picking up.
That was strange, Cynthia was never late for a business meeting, and she wouldn't neglect her phone on a day as busy as this one.
'Is something wrong with the baby then,' Dark thoughts started looming over George's head. He forgot that he was not alone, his mind was only with his Cynthia now. He called her again.
His calls were going straight to voice mail now.
George groaned.
The two old men were mildly annoyed by the fact that the young heiress was blowing them off, they secretly wished she stayed far from business and delegated company related issues to her capable fiance, George Robinson.
