Henry wore a complicated expression as he came inside the mansion.
"Lose the weird face, Cynthia's asleep and George left a while ago," Gloria said coming down the stairs, baby Treasure in her arms.
His face brightened immediately.
'So he came to see the baby,' Gloria thought with an increasing level of interest. "Cynthia is asleep upstairs," she watched as his eyes drifted up where the bedrooms are then slid down once again to fall on the baby in Gloria's arms. "Would you like to have a cup of morning coffee with me?"
Henry smiled at Gloria who always treated him kindly, "Thank you," he said, grateful that she was here. "I won't take long,"
She shifted the weight of the baby over to one arm and waved her hand, "Nonsense, you can stay as long as you want, you're our Treasures Godfather," she said, 'And biological uncle,' she added inwardly.
