Cynthia snatched her hand away from the dazed guy's grip, he was about to sit up but then he swayed back with a scowling face and placed his palm on his forehead.
"You were not supposed to be up this early...get some sleep," she said with a cold tone while rubbing her throbbing wrist.
Leonard cleared his throat, "…You can't be the one behind this,"
Cynthia's eyes went up to the ceiling and then down to Leonard's face, "Glad you have enough brain cells to figure that one out on your own,"
Leonard groaned as he sat up successfully this time and then tried to push his body up with his hands but failed to do so, small beads of sweat were already forming on his forehead.
"What kind of shi* did he use on me?" He looked at Cynthia as if she was supposed to have an answer to that. But she had other things on her mind.
"Listen, Leo, first of all, if you manage to get up on your two feet and fall after that, I won't help you up,"
