Gloria and Robert who had heard the news directly from George the second his wife went through the abortion took the first plane from the United States to Turkey. They were heavily briefed by George about acting normal around his wife and minimizing the incident as much as possible while they were on their way.
Gloria who had bawled her eyes out on the 13 hour flight was very proud of her son.
Cynthia's in laws were in such a hurry to see her that they didn't even check in a hotel, instead, the car George already rented picked them up from the airport and took them straight to the American Hospital in Istanbul.
"Ed, take our luggage and check us in the same hotel our children are staying at," Robert instructed before they got out of the car and got inside the hospital.
