"Is the temperature okay for you?" Cynthia asked her husband reluctantly; she was already fully aware that he prefers the water to be hot while what she was offering him was lukewarm water. She was just being mindful of his cast.
"Mhm," he nodded with a strange face, "It's fine the way it is," Geroge suppressed a smile.
His wife had taken it upon herself to become his right hand while his actual hand remained in a cast. She helped him with meals, she helped him with work, she also helped him with taking clothes off and wearing them.
And now, she was about to help him take a shower.
