(Mark's P.O.V)
My brother and Geom arrived, while I was at the table. Waiting for them. My brother said "Hello, Mark! It seems things got... A little complicated! Or that's what Mr Geom told me" and I asked "Geom? What did you find?"
They both sat down, my brother normally, and Geom as if he was on some sort of video game, very quickly. He said "Well, we found that there were probably some quite gruesome corpses in a crime scene, the same burnt out shots from that incident, and I think Budweiser pulled this off"
"What made you think Budweiser killed those people?" I asked. And then he told me "Two parts of the floor were burned, and another it had a huge stain of blood, granted, I don't know how that happened, but chances are it has to do with his ice powers that were showcased on TV"
"Very well then" I said. Then my brother said "And since Budweiser seems to be quite powerful, we're going to need all of the group to stop him! Vincent, Kathie, and-"
"Stinson? Putting a child to do dangerous things... Doesn't seem to be quite responsible, brother" I said.
"Ok... I'll ask him first if he wants to!" He replied.
One thing is happiness and the other thing is keeping someone safe. Some are responsible, some are not. My brother would make a loving but shitty father.
"Hello? Stinson! Hey! I just wanted to let you know there's a bad guy I need your help these days to catch! So, if you want, these days you can help! What do you say? Will you? Ok! Bye bye!" said my brother.
"Also... Don't get involved in our investigation, brother. Leave that to Stinson, Geom, and me" I commanded. And my brother said "Ok!"
And of course there's the matter of Kathie. I can't see her, I can't INTERACT with her, nothing.
Geom got up really quickly, and said "So... Shall we go find that Stinson kid?" And I said "Yes"
First I went to my room to grab something, and then we left the apartment.
(Marlow's P.O.V)
I was laying on my couch, waiting for Vincent and Kathie to come, and the time eventually came.
The two finally arrived!
"How are you doing, Marl?" Asked Vince, and I said to him that I was doing very well, while Kathie said "It seems that really cute people are in your group, huh Marlow?" while touching my chin. And then Vincent said "Oh, yes! I am a cute man, girl!" and then Kathie said to him "Oh... I can totally see that, cutie..." and he was blushing! "A-a-anyway, what do you want us to do, Marl?" asked Vince.
I said "Well, there's the matter of Budweiser, and we feel we're going to need the best arsenal possible to fight against him, and this is where I think you come in, guys! And also, I just wanted to talk between the three of us, it seems fun"
Kathie told me "I would love to see what you want to talk about with that cute voice of yours..." she said while caressing a pink teddy bear she brought. For some reason it has a missing eye.
"Well... The other day I saw a Ben 10 episode, you know, that show from Nickelodeon?" I said, while Vincent clarified to me "It's from Cartoon Network, not Nickelodeon" and I said "Sorry, my bad" and then I continued "Anyway, I saw that episode where... Ben has to fight some sort of female robot villainess? And that robot villainess... Heavily injured Grandpa Max, and Ben can't help but feel bad from that incident"
Vincent then told me "That's actually one of my favourite episodes, what about you, Kathie, have you seen-?"
Then he saw her asleep, then Vincent tried to wake her up by shaking her shoulder, successfully and then she asked "Huh? We are finally going to fight against someone?"
"Not yet, but are you alright?" Asked Vince, and then she replied "Yes, darling. It's just that I fall asleep kind of often... Also, I see you are blushing a lot, gentlemen..."
(Mark's P.O.V)
After we explained everything to a bruised Stinson, we decided to go search for more clues, and Stinson's final words temporarily were "Why are you walking like Mario?" and then Geom replied "I have my own reasons"
We then see a hooded person walking, with round glasses reflected, and whose face was very obscured by the hood, talking with her cellphone. The closer that person came, the more we realised she is female. And I realised...
Who that was.
Then she pointed the wand at Geom, and blasted it, but Stinson grabbed Geom and pulled him from the shot of fire.
"Rowling?" I asked.
"Looks like you truly did your research. I am not going to kill you or your blonde friend. It's Davie Geom who he wants" She said.
Then I realised something. Something I should have realised earlier.
Then I grabbed my hammer, and I went to strike her, but she grabbed me by the shirt and said "Don't make this harder for me" and grabbed the hammer, and she put it in her pocket, and then she put me down gently. She later thought I was running to get help.
Big mistake. However, Stinson and Geom were following me, and the former was calling my brother with his phone. I needed to evade him.
(Marlow's P.O.V)
My cell phone was ringing. It's Stinson!
"Hello, Stinson?" I asked, and then Stinson told me "Marlow! We need your help! Some hooded lady is trying to attack us!"
I got up as fast as I could. "Ok! We'll be right there!" Then Vince told me to ask him where they were, and I asked the same.
"We're on Hanson Street! There are some small trees, that is where we are! Save your brother and Mr Geom!"
Then he hung up. Then Kathie asked me "What happened, honey?" And I told my friends "A hooded woman is attacking them!" then Vincent looked at me and asked:
"Hooded woman?!"
(Mark's P.O.V)
Stinson was preoccupied making Geom safe from the attacks Rowling gave him, so it meant it was a good time for me to disappear, grab the sphere, open it, have a green glow consume me until I become a black blobby man, and get to see only black and green.
I shot with my blaster so Rowling could stop chasing him, and start focusing on me. She slowly turned her head, looked at me, and said "You are not going to get away"
Then I went forward, and she threw a blizzard so she could freeze me, but thanks to Vincent's shield, I was protected by it. Her body language indicated that she was caught off guard, but her facial expression didn't change. So I extended my arm and I punched her. I was going to do a diving kick, but she controlled the earth so she could make a roof for herself and protect herself from the kick.
I activated my energised sword, and cut right through the stone, and she went in a different direction, and casted a tornado, then she shot a fireball, and I couldn't react in time, hopefully I could still defeat her in time.
I got up, and she shot another fireball, while I shot from my six barreled gun a couple of shots, going through the fireball, but Rowling was able to dodge the attack, and then...
Vincent showed up, tackling her away.
I looked the other way, and my brother and the seductress were there, with Stinson and Geom as well.
"Can you please come with me? Stealing is wrong, you know" said my brother, while Stinson said "Wait! How do you know he's a thief?"
"This client with a robotic voice told me so," he said. "I've been told he was a thief, and that he stole something that made him transform into him"
Kathie and Geom looked at each other, with Kathie winking and smiling at the detective, and they both said "It is probably a voice modifier" and Geom continued with "It is kind of suspicious if you ask me if you want to trust that client" and my brother seemed so confused with the whole ordeal, and Stinson said "He's a superhero! Haven't you-"
Then I saw Vincent still fighting against Rowling, I would keep fighting against her, but I had one minute before I changed back to my human self. So I went to hide somewhere, however, when you have someone who flies while chasing you, it isn't going to be easy.
I went into hiding, my brother decided to help out Vincent, and Kathie chased after me.
While I was escaping, she told me "With someone as flexible as you are... I wonder how deep you can go, and how you will enjoy some nice sounds..." It was an interesting offer, not many kids my age are interested in that, but in spite of getting her into legal troubles, I would gladly do it.
However, she doesn't know that I am just a kid, and again, she doesn't seem to be a rapist.
Then Stinson said "Kathie, wait! That liquid might be mysterious and probably evil, but the one who's certified evil is that witch! She's been the one that-" Kathie then said "You're right! So sorry, Stinson!" and then also joined the fight against Rowling.
Stinson was quite helpful. I could escape freely.
(Marlow's P.O.V)
She was shooting fireballs at me and Vince, but we dodged the attack, and I went running to punch her, and Vincent was flying to punch her, but then she made water come out of the floor, making us fly to the sky, and I fell on my back... Ow, my back...
However Vincent didn't fall on the floor, and was still floating, while he and she had a staredown.
"Let's face it, that victory you had then, was just plain luck" he said, while Rowling moved her head a little bit, and she jumped over us and went to run somewhere else, but Kathie was flying right towards her, and Rowling summoned a floating boulder, and she smashed it towards her!
I told Vince "Please go after her, I'll check on Kathie!" and Vincent said "Of course, Marlow"
He then went to chase her while I went to see and check if Kathie was alright.
"Kathie... Are you alright?" I asked, and she made that sound again. "Oh... Very much... Haven't fought someone like her in years..."
Then she got up, we both looked at Rowling, and I went running towards her, and she went flying.
Vincent was shooting a stream of that glow towards Rowling, and she was doing the same with fire. Kathie then flew over Vince and kicked Rowling in the back, making her get blasted by the shot.
Rowling got up really slow... And then she saw us.
"Not so lucky now, are ya?" Said Vincent, and then I think she said kind of slowly the words "Well done" Then Vincent went flying to try and punch her, but then... Budweiser showed up and stopped the attack.
"THIS, is the great Sci-Fi-Man?" Said Budweiser before he kicked him right to us. Me and Kathie went to help him out, but he refused because he wanted to get up all alone.
Wait a second... That voice...
"You're the client?!" I asked. And he replied with "As I said before, I am a misunderstood ally, Marl. I just want what's good for my clients, that is all" then Vince responded with "Do you want to explain that to the souls that were left after the incident?" and then Budweiser screamed "DO NOT MENTION THAT AGAIN! ... Do not mention that again. What happened there was a tragedy that I wasn't able to control, but I managed to deal with"
Then he looked at Rowling and he said "You need some rest, we're leaving" and Rowling opened up a portal, and both jumped into it, dodging Vincent's energy ball, and the portal closed down before I and Kathie could arrive there.
We looked at the floor for three seconds, and then I said to Vincent "Look at it this way: You're getting more money for your mom!" and then he replied "For now, keep that money to yourself, Marl" then Kathie sighed. "Too bad that rock was all I experienced"
(Mark's P.O.V)
I managed to transform back into my human form again. And then I was wondering what bullshit excuse I was planning to say, but once I got out of the alley, Stinson was looking at me.
Fuck.
"Mark? Where were you? And was that what I saw a green glow?" asked Stinson. And I replied with "Hiding. And also, I don't know what the fuck you are talking about"
Then Geom ran toward Stinson, and said "There you are! Next time let me know when you stop so I can know" and Stinson said "Aye aye captain!"
After Geom called my brother and told him we were in our apartment, Stinson and I had some words in my bedroom.
"I've seen enough Ben 10 to know where this is going, Mark," he said. And I asked "The fuck?"
And Stinson continued; "It has to be you. You're that black liquid. You're the Upgrade of the real world. You're-"
"I get it. But don't tell anyone, especially not my brother" I commanded. And Stinson asked "Why? Because you think he's going to get hurt since he would know your secret identity?" and I said "Because he's going to annoy me to join his stupid superhero team"
And then Stinson said "Oh, I see. I'll keep quiet. Hey, you might want to know this, but back in the past I used to have a secret of my own... That everyone eventually found out about-"
"Powerpuff Girls?" I asked.
And then he said "Yes. However, I have another secret of mine, and now only one person knows about it. No one else knows about it, and I get to tell all those secrets to that someone. And it's a secret you will never kno-"
"Not that I am interested in it. Listen, I need to talk to Geom, so why don't you wank off playing a game against the computer?"
Computer...
That actually gives me an idea.
Then I walked out of my room, and I saw Geom playing, this time, on a Game Boy Advance, and I heard the sound of Sonic striking an enemy. I tugged his black coat and black pants, then he looked at me. And I said:
"I know who Budweiser is"
