She woke up and helped herself stand, she noticed that she's in an alley with garbage scattered around the place. Trying to grasp reality, she curiously looked around wondering what had happened and why she's here during nighttime.
It seemed that she's somewhere near a factory as she saw cases near the doors, a vending machine, some rusty pipes, and a flickering light in front. She got paranoid, not knowing where the gunman was, she tried to look for her phone that was in her pocket but it wasn't there. She had lost her backpack and was having trouble knowing where she is currently at.
She panicked, Ploy ran as fast as she could knowing that the helmet guy might be on his tracks to stop her tail. She slipped on the wet floor, her black skirt got wet and it stained her white uniform.
Frustrated, she stood up and looked at her hands that got wet as well. She paid no attention to it and continued to run until she saw the busy street. She let out a big sigh as she got exhausted from all the running and felt relief as she saw people again.
She felt that everything was strange, but after a few seconds she had calmed herself down and realized what happened to her.
I looked around and saw my bag, but what's inside isn't my books, even the phone was very similar to mine, but when I checked the photo at the back it was different. I even thought that it was a celebrity's phone as there's a face of a K-Pop idol. I may have found someone else's bag that looked like mine.
I heard someone groaning, so I looked at my back and saw a girl lying on the floor. Immediately, I went to her and it seems that she's having a hard time breathing.
Since I have social anxiety, I don't talk nor approach anyone - I want to ask her what happened, as it seems that she's the owner of the bag. I tried to use her phone to call for help or activate Seri but it was broken. I decided to not meddle with it anymore.
I made my way back home, I braced myself before entering the house to explain to them what had happened. But as soon as I came in, I'm surprised that they didn't even notice me or tried to ask me why I took so long. Instead of feeling relieved that I may have escaped punishment, a heavy feeling was all I felt. Didn't they even know that I wasn't home yet? Have they tried looking for me or even asked around where I have been? As I continue to ponder, I get more and more frustrated and go upstairs just to sleep it off.
I woke up and mom was doing the usual thing, preparing our food and my bag for school. I looked at it and it was the same bag I saw yesterday. Anong gave me a phone and mom told me the bag I had was from Anong, he bought it for me, even the new phone.
After eating, I went to school.
As I was walking along the hallway, I saw Aom and 2 of her classmates. Aom was angry and there were tears in her eyes and seemed infuriated at me.
She threatened, "Do you want me to grab your hair?"
"Why?" I asked. But all of a sudden, she grabbed my hair, pushed me against the rails and was about to fall from the 2nd floor that's 15 ft high. I replied to her in an aggressive tone as I felt the pain on my scalp while she was tweaking my hair.
"My mother didn't give birth to me for you to tweak my hair!"
The teachers saw us and yelled at her, she said that we were just joking around and had left. I have a feeling that this had already happened before, a deja vu? I felt a strange energy and I'd like to believe that it was my guardian angel.
I found that situation confusing, why did she ask me with that look on her face? So I decided to follow them around.
I heard them whispering to each other and one of the girls said, "You should have told her!"
"She lives in a freaking strict house! Their family should know everything! Yet, she still acts as if nothing happened. What a psychopath! What kind of family do they have?!"
"Not everyone who lives in a strict house is the same, Aom. I, also, live in a strict house with only rules, talking never happens."
I should've known? What should I have known? I got more curious to know what happened so I went closer.
The bag that I am wearing should've been for the girl before! Was she raped by someone in my family?
"Anong..."
The guy who went to our house and fought Anong was the girl's boyfriend, I should tell everyone!
This was what my heart and my conscience said, but my mind is telling me otherwise and to continue to investigate.
