Ploy is a kid who's always curious, she often gets scolded with a lot of things – even the little ones. Because of this, she had developed an intuition and had trusted this ever since.
That day she had no choice but to sleep so she wouldn't hear her brother's screams.
Ploy sleeps lightly and it makes her aware of her surroundings even when her eyes are closed.
Her mother suddenly opened her door with a loud bang causing her to wake up. She looked around the room and then closed the door again, it seemed that she was looking for something. Ploy said to myself.
"Maybe they're right - I don't understand everything yet. I'm still an adult that hasn't explored yet and lacks experience due to students that are younger than me."
I stared blankly while pondering, then my mom had disturbed me from my sleep.
I woke up and heard that there's something going on outside -- a commotion? A fight? But it looks like it's more than that.
I stepped outside of my room and peeked and saw them stopping someone's fight. From what I heard, it seemed that the guy is in debt but unsure of the other person he's fighting.
As I quietly listened to their conversation, it seemed that the guy in debt had stolen the other's girlfriend.
Out of curiosity, I went downstairs and saw that Anong was the other guy in the fight. I didn't want to be a part of the commotion but saw that mom was there trying to meddle in the fight.
I'm starting to panic, my intuition is telling me to run away but I had to do something because they might get arrested by the police.
Ploy had found a live wire where the fight happened and a nearby lizard. She had gathered all the negative energy and the strength that cause her to overflow all her auras and believed that the lizard would walk past the live wire. Amazingly, it has happened - the power of manifestation.
The lizard got electrocuted, caused a spark and broke the electric meter. It got the attention of the neighbors and one of them said, "Haish! The meter broke down again! We should've asked for a better one from the captain, why are they so slow?!"
Another one had said, "Yeah! I will have to miss my favorite noon time show!"
Their topic suddenly changed to the powerplant since it powers most houses in the alley. It's so frail that if wind blows heavily it touches another wire and usually leads to brownouts.
Ploy's plan succeeds. Anong and his opponent can't do anything nor think about what they are fighting because electricity is more important to his mother.
"You two, stop fighting!" her mom said, "We're running on backup but this will not take long, go out and buy me candles!"
The other guy called out to Anong, "We're not done."
Anong just stared at the opponent and was thinking of throwing a punch but he didn't have any choice as his mother was with him.
Mom said,"Don't make me say it twice, Anong."
Ploy runs to her room, closes the door then lays down to sleep.
She left out a big sigh of relief and thought to herself, "People..."
I wonder how my mind works like this?
