Chapter 82 - EPILOGUE (Megha's POV)

I walked into my room to wake up the father and son duo. Aaradh was sleeping in the embrace of Krish. He is four years old now. He was the apple of everyone's eye in this house. Krish was an overprotective father. He always made sure to give the best things to Aaradh. When he is with him, he is more like a toddler. I still remember how he used to speak in gibberish to him. Watching Krish take care of Aaradh makes me feel how lucky I am to have such a supportive husband. Krish never disturbed my sleep and took care of Aaradh when he woke up at late night.

"Krish, wake up", I pull the sheets which were covering him.

"Five more minutes", he squirms

"Okay, leave Aaradh it is time for his breakfast"

"No"

"Krish"

"He is sleeping. See how handsome my son looks. Don't disturb his sleep"

"Not this again", I yank away Krish's hand which was wrapping Aaradh.

I lift Aaradh and he wakes up immediately.

"Morning, baby boy", I said pinching his nose.

"Morning, mommy", he said giggling.

Life can't treat anymore better. Everything was bliss now. Mathew has opened his own restaurant which has gotten good recognization from the public. I was still his priority and it is so funny to think how much I hated him during my college days and now when I am disturbed the first one I talk to is him. It is funny how the hate turned into sibling love. He, Catherine, and Sahana always made sure that they spoil my son to the worst. Mathew is Aaradh's favorite uncle because he buys him whatever he wants. The tension between Krish and Mathew has completely cooled off now. Even after the reunion, Mathew didn't trust Krish. He always doubted that he might hurt me again. But Krish proved him wrong every time. Ever since that day, he started to control his emotions. He started thinking twice before doing anything.

Sahana is now studying in fifth grade. Time passes so fast, and she keeps growing old so fast. It seems like yesterday that we were convincing her to go to school and so fast she is in fifth grade. Still, she hasn't stopped troubling Mathew. She keeps asking him for something. The arguments between the father and daughter were the entertainment for the rest of us in the house.

Akash has started acting in films now. A complete room is filled with the gifts sent by his fans. Now anywhere he goes, he is followed by well-built, giant bodyguards. He got married to Pranay last year and both of them are now the cutest couple in this house. They had no limited romance. The worst was Pranay was Akash's personal secretary so this couple also experienced this work-time romance.

Shrey is now an assistant commissioner. He visits us whenever he gets time. I keep scolding and insulting him even now, and he doesn't care about it. According to him, his wife was very compatible with me because both of us always tend to find something wrong in whatever he does.

After giving Aaradh a hot bath I take him to the kitchen. I make him sit on the kitchen slab while I prepared breakfast for him.

I was feeding him food when Krish's hand snaked around my waist from my back. He rests his chin on my shoulder and said, "Morning, baby and baby's mother"

"Move back, Aaradh is here", I said slapping his hand

"Aaradh do you care if I hug your mom", he asks the toddler. Aaradh shakes his head left and right, as though he understood something.

"See he doesn't care", Krish said.

"Guys you have a son now, at least now learn to not be clingy always", it was Mathew.

Years have passed but still, he has never stopped interrupting our romantic time.

"My wife, I hug her. What is your problem?", Krish asked. The both of them started to argue and I started laughing.

After an hour Riya, Rachel, and their cute daughter, Adiya arrived. Adiya was an exact copy of Rachel morphologically and resembled Riya's character.

We all gobbled the food with laughter and teased each other.

The adults were sitting on the couch while the kids were playing. Mathew and Catherine were scrolling their phones and whispering to each other. Riya and Rachel were staring at their daughter making sure she doesn't fall anywhere. Akash was clung to Pranay like a koala as they watched some movie on their mobile. I was sitting next to Krish who was busy admiring the kids playing. I lean on his shoulder and his hands automatically rest on my waist.

Our house was filled with happiness. It was just colorful. This is what we all wanted, no problems, no tension, no stress just some happy moments and care for each other. We were a big happy family who loved each other unconditionally.

I was an orphan when I met Krish. But now I have a huge family who loved me without expecting anything in return. My life was complete.
