After the much enjoyed tour, Jack took me back to the main house so that we could meet the others and also get a hint of what had happened in our absence, I still didn't feel guilty for what I did to Jennifer but I felt like I had lost a battle even though I was the one with the title of the winner. Julian had looked so disappointed in me when I had dealt with Jennifer, I had never seen him look at me like that before and if there was anything that I had caused then it would be giving Jennifer the upper hand because Julian had already seen me as the monster while Jennifer as the innocent victim, he was going to show her more care and probably give her more attention from here on.
"What do you look so worried about?" Jack asked me as he drove the golf cart back to the main house at a very slow pace, I looked across the fields of corn into the clear pale sky, the clouds were just seated in the air while the sun looked just like a pale light bulb.
