Julian had been very reluctant to go after Jennifer because he was aware of the kind of drama queen that she was, he had woken up on the wrong side of the bed and with the kind of talk that he had with Don k the night before; it was easy to see that Julian was not in his best of moods. Jennifer had stormed off into the garden area and Julian was aware of this because he knew Jennifer better than anybody else in the house and also because he knew how special that place was to her.
"If you know you are going to cause a scene like that, you should have just given me the heads up so that I would leave when things are about to get awkward" Julian said to Jennifer as she tended to the colourful Magpies birds that were feeding in their cages, there were tons of exotic birds on the grounds of the manor but the Magpies seemed to be her favourite.
