I felt really stupid for accepting the offer from Charles, going out for lunch with him had ended me in trouble and the worst part was that there was no end to Julian's temper. After work had closed, I told a very meek looking Charles goodbye before I entered Julian's office for the second time.
"I am really sorry for-" I wanted to apologize when he was looking calmer but he didn't even let me speak.
"Save it, I feel no anger towards you anymore" he said without looking up from his computer, he was doing something that looked serious so I edged closer to his desk.
"I sincerely didn't know that you were coming back today and if I had known then I would have removed my phone from DND mode" I said as I edged closer, Julian rolled his eyes and he looked at me sternly.
"What is it that you want?" he was getting angry again, his voice had turned into a growl.
