*DIANA*
The drive back to the office was a fun one that was filled with laughs and silly jokes about cars, I was about to make a popular joke about the Ferrari but I felt a vibration in my bag. I picked up my phone to see that I had 4 missed calls from Julian and there was a message as well waiting for me, I read it with a thumping heart.
"Where the heck are you?" I read it aloud and Charles gave me a puzzled glance.
"Who was that?" he asked as he stepped hard on the brake because of a red light.
"It was from the boss, I don't know why he was calling though" I said the remaining part to myself, I was trying to think up of any emergency that could have made Julian to call me during lunch break.
"Do you think that he is back yet?" Charles sounded a bit scared and I could understand why, I was afraid of getting on Julian's bad side.
