Shenhe was having a great time training with the Raiden Shogun as she thrived in a martial arts environment and frankly, she was well used to working herself to the bone in the name of self-improvement. To say nothing of how talented she was to such a level that even Ei actually enjoyed training her.
After two days of Yae Miko's 'wonderful' teaching my control over Electro energy had greatly blossomed to the point that Ei and the previously smug kitsune looked at me like a monster which greatly stroked my ego!
So typically most people with visions except for some outliers like Shenhe had similar stores of elemental energy they could channel with their visions if they didn't have some kind of supernatural bloodline... Or was literally a cultivator like Shenhe, or in Lisa's case. She burned away a lot of her life force and lifespan to gain forbidden knowledge which also made her extremely powerful.
But for me and Lumine? We had our base stores of elemental energy... And then for each element we gained, our stores would literally fucking double. I already had more elemental energy than Lumine had due to my Aura giving me more spiritual energy at the start so once I had three stacks of elements doubling my elemental stores of energy.
Only Ei was my match in how much I could output in Electro energy and she gladly taught me how to properly channel the lightning and the secret to condense the power without it arcing everywhere.
I sat down in front of Yae Miko silently with us both supporting a five-layer pyramid of glowing sakura flowers with each layer of the pyramid floating separated from each other layer by a solid inch gap with purple lightning gently arcing between the flower petals.
"Hmph, watching you makes me angry honestly... Years of training this skill with my own electro-vision and you overtake me in not even half a week?" Yae Miko's once bored voice had a tinge of annoyance in tone making me smile softly as I twitched a finger and the lightning curled up making the pyramid break down before my lightning control took back control of the flowers.
The kitsune sniffed as she watched me form a ring of the flowers with my fingers shooting out three dozen arcs of lightning that supported an individual flower petal and then the ring began to slowly spin in place with Yae Miko sighing and saying with some amusement. "Well. You may not nearly be as talented as that little muscle head you brought along in using a sharp pointy thing... But Ei certainly picked a worthy disciple purely for controlling electro energy."
I let the flowers fall into my hand as I finally opened my eyes and looked at the kitsune who was lounging lazily across a large mat while eating some fried tofu I brought to her. As fried tofu directly from the city down below the mountain was her price for her lessons.
And I smiled as Yae Miko's honest evaluation was well appreciated as I was well aware that Lumine was better with a sword than I was. I just survived my battles with Fatui and monsters with my Aura allowing me to take lethal hits and bully people with my semblance as no one expects a mecha punching them in the back of the head.
But with my greatly enhanced control and output of electro energy, I now had another great weapon to fall back on. "So, beyond some other lessons that you will quickly pick up on. What else do you wish to learn here in Inazuma... Any plans to return to Watatsumi Island?" Yae Miko asked casually and my body stilled for a moment before I snorted.
I gave the smiling mischievously kitsune a bland look before I spoke with some introspection. "Honestly I do need to. As down below is some remains of Khanrieah or something that Lumine and I need to look into." I spoke and then after taking a breath, I continued. "And of course... I hope that I can get Ei to reverse her decision and fully halt the Vision Hunt decree and end this Civil War."
There was a moment of silence as Yae Miko gave me a hard look before she chuckled deeply with her chuckle being a throaty purr that reminded me of her inhuman nature as she lazily sat up and I saw a hint of her pink tails as she flexed some of her power casually before she yawned and then asked me bluntly.
"And how do you plan to change the mind of a goddess of war little human? No matter your talent with the blade and electro... You are still weaker than her and cannot defeat her and make her accept your demand as is her rule?"
To which I smiled and Yae Miko's lazy appearance died instantly and her eyes sharpened into slits as I spoke. "Who said I was going to defeat her? Why... I got a much better plan actually." I leaned in and whispered. "I know where Makoto's soul is. In return for ending the civil war and ending the Vision Hunt Decree. I think she would do anything to have her sister back as I have two goddesses in my soul already!"
Yae Miko's kitsune ears actually twitched with her large earrings moving a good bit as her face couldn't properly explain the shock she was feeling and I stood up with a smile and said. "And I need your help, Yae Miko. As she is currently sealed away down below your shrine after all!"
And in the depths of my soul, I could hear Guizhong calling out. "Oh, Makoto will be joining in here. Woohoo it's going to be a super slumber party just like old times again haha!"
The feeling of the reviving Dust goddess Divinity snapped the kitsune out of her shock as she covered her face with her hands and groaned. "Oh, dear archons... This is going to end in tears and you probably getting your legs and hands broken for doing this without Ei watching."
