Chapter 65 - Chapter 59 Josh has commissioned two chapters.

After thoroughly breaking in our new bed with Eula and Lumine I woke up quite a bit earlier than usual as I had a niggling feeling in the back of my head so I gently extracted myself from the two girl's arms so I could go into the house's living room.

And low and behold my instinct was correct as fucking sitting on my couch and drinking the tea we set out last night was Yelan.

"Is there a particular reason you broke into our new home and decided to eat and drink our food Yelan? Or better yet how long have you been here?" I asked as I took a seat across Yelan and for a second I thought to be vindictive and steal back my tea, but I recalled a little-known fact about Yelan, and with a smell of the aroma of the tea I noticed the strong scent of Jueyan Chili Peppers.

So, no way was I drinking obscenely spicy tea due to Yelan having freaky tastes even if I wanted to chug it just to claim the tea back as my own.

"Hmm? Who is to say I ever left? Who is to say this very house isn't one of my own properties and I am just leasing it to you so I can learn all your oh-so-interesting secrets, Jake?" Yelan spoke openly as she leaned back on the couch while folding her arms underneath her chest as she eyed me.

I chuckled and shook my head as I folded my hands under my chin and I met Yelan's green eyes with my own blue ones. "Yelan, I highly doubt Ningguang would break a business deal even if it was to investigate me and Lumine who I am sure interests just about everyone... But either way. You of all people wouldn't come barging in here without a reason, so what do you want Yelan?" I asked not with force but with genuine curiosity.

The femme fatale beauty across from me hummed in thought as she likewise leaned towards me and purposefully pressed her elbows together so her large breasts were brought within view, and I caught sight of that distracting mole she had on her left one as she placed her cup of tea on the table.

Even as my eyes flickered back to Yelan's face I could tell she felt smug about distracting me, but she dropped the more joking atmosphere as she spoke. "Speaking of Ningguang don't you think it's odd how she is so willing to give you a house and such just for doing a delivery? Because it's not just for the delivery. In case it wasn't clear Jake." Yelan stood up and leaned over the table that separated us as she came within like half a foot of my face.

"Liyue wants you and Lumine to settle down here... Things aren't so easy for the Liyue Qixing as of late. The Treasure Hoarders tear apart and steal from our land-based merchants, Sea trade is in turmoil as only Captain Beidou's ship is guaranteed any sort of safety due to the leylines rumbling and sending the sea monsters into a rage." Yelan spoke and I raised an eyebrow at her before she shook her head.

"And not only that but the Geovishaps of all types are breaking out of the earth and causing problems that normal Liyue soldiers most certainly cannot fix and nor do the Adepti care to lull them back underground... Then there is the supposed 'rouge' Fatui agents that arrive in Liyue and just attack settlements due to how they were kicked out previously." Yelan sighed as she leaned back into her sofa as she felt she had made her points abundantly clear.

"So Liyue needs more heavy hitters what with Mondstadt focusing inwards and not projecting their power outwards along with all the other neighboring nations being in various states of having issues," I spoke bluntly and Yelan nodded.

"I am glad you are so intelligent... I wish you had the sense to know when you are being watched while copulating, but such senses can be trained I suppose." Yelan said cattily and I raised an eyebrow in response.

"Oh, I knew you were there... It's not like I could avoid seeing the semi-invisible shadow hiding beside the wardrobe closet doing something equally interesting." I said making Yelan cough and barely hold down a blush as although sure her enchanted cloak made her invisible and bend light around her. It was more like a kind of active camo as you could still sort of see her outline.

"I see... So, you are merely an exhibitionist?" At my unimpressed look, she just snorted and waved a hand in my direction before continuing. "But yes, Ningguang wants your little party to as they say, set roots down here in Liyue as the little Lawrence won't face any prejudice or hate down here... The people of Liyue never dealt with evil lords, slavers, or anything mundane like that... Our history is filled with the blood of dozens of gods dying within these lands and tainting it with terrible karma that creates monsters and natural disasters." She spoke and she was very much correct as Zhongli had earned his place as the strongest god with his skyscraper-sized spears of stone being used to smash gods into paste or just seal them underground until they Faded.

"Anything else you wanted then Yelan?" I asked and she hummed before gleefully nodding and my heart stuttered as she spoke. "Yes, I came here not only to openly enlighten you about the higher-up's intentions to avoid a misunderstanding, but I have also come to recruit you for a commission. A Primal Geovishap has been spotted North of Liyue city has been noted to be moving toward the Chasm which we cannot allow. Either we will dissuade the Primal Geovishap or we will kill it." She spoke and I blew out a puff of air as the earth dragons were no joke as they were naturally attuned to all the natural elements and could use them at will.

But killing such a monster... Could be a powerful boon to my summoning abilities to say nothing of what I could do by dropping one of those dragons on a foe from high in the sky like a sort of shock troop after it attuned itself to Anemo energy to deal with the fall.

"So, it's just me, my girls, and you?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No, I have also recruited a little friend of mine to help as well mostly on the dissuading bit, but those Geovishaps are prideful little spitfires in the best of their moods so it's almost certainly going to come down to a bloody mess," Yelan spoke wryly as she shrugged. "Thats why I wanted you and your friends. Frankly, you all are more straightforward fighters whereas myself and my friend typically fight from a good distance and don't have many ways of dealing with a small dragon trying to smash us to death." Yelan said bluntly and after a moment of thought I realized who she was talking about, so I just nodded.

"Alright, I will go wake up the girls so just relax for a bit while they get cleaned up and ready," I said as I stood up and stretched before cracking my neck as I walked towards the bedroom while I felt Yelan's gaze on my back.

Going into the room I saw Lumine, and Eula had snuggled up closer due to myself having left the space between them and thus they sought each other's heat source.

"Lumine, Eula, it's time to wake up. We got a guest and a commissioned." I softly spoke as I shook the two girls away and they both blearily looked at me before Lumine simply grunted burying her face in Eula's chest and pulling the blanket over herself to block out the light.
