Me and Lumine were on the way to the Knights of Favonius's headquarters to talk to Jean we saw the very leader of the knights we were looking for standing in front of the Golden Globe hotel where the Fatui were staying. Speaking to a Fatui agent that had her upper face covered in a cowl that covered her eyes and nose.
Simply put the Fatui were up to no good and were constantly attempting to sabotage the nations of the world in more subtly ways by having their disposable troops armed with false Visions called Delusions ransack the countryside for old powerful relics that remained from the days before and during the Archon wars when the numerous old gods did battle to see who was worthy to become the Archons that would rule Teyvat to this day.
Not to mention how they are constantly trying to steal the Archons, Gnosis a powerful artifact that labels the Archon, the ruler of their lands basically.
"If you are unable to promptly deal with the Stormterror threat then leave the defense of Mondstadt to the Fatui." The female fatui agent said as she pointed at Jean in a commanding manner.
When the Fatui agent made an allusion to simply bringing down Stormterror to the ground and killing him, Jean flipped her shit, and I could see she was a hair's breadth from punching the masked Fatui diplomat in her cowl.
"Here you are saying you wish to 'put an end' to one of the Four Winds of Mondstadt... The Knights of Favonius will not have any of that nonsense spoken here in these lands!" Jean snarled as she folded her arms across her chest to stop herself from drawing her sword on the smug diplomat who giggled at Jean's reaction.
"It's not as crazy as it sounds... But fine that's enough negotiation for today. At this stage this is merely an amicably exchange of constructive opinions." She said lightly and then without a care for Jean whose Vision on her back began glowing as her frustration grew the Fatui agent slammed the hotel door shut as she left.
Me and Lumine shared a look before we walked over to Jean who was taking a deep breath and staring at the sky seemingly searching for answers.
"Heya Jean. You know if we use a Pyro Vison there won't be any real evidence of an arson." I said offhandedly and Jean froze as she seemingly did the mental gymnastics as she thought up an excuse for how Klee could end up burning down the hotel that the Fatui have all but commandeered in their attempt to control Mondstadt.
She eventually snorted but threw a thankful smile towards me as she responded. "Jake as much as I would delight in the opportunity to simply cook some marshmallows on the residue fires of the Fatui's homes with the children of Mondstadt, unfortunately, such a blaze could spread to the other buildings so maybe another day."
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of the leaders of the Fatui, the Fatui Harbingers reading notes about how a pyromaniac child burnt down their connection to the city of Mondstadt and then there was a huge communal barbeque using the burnt remains to feed the children of the city...
'Childe would probably just laugh honestly though.' I thought as my mind conjured up the image of the orange-haired Fatui Harbinger that did all that he did in order to support his family and to become stronger.
"Ahem, anyway I must once again thank you both as your help assured that the elemental flow between the leylines have largely stabilized. Thus, the aftermath of Stormterror's last attack has largely settled down for the moment. However, the pressure from Snezhnaya's so-called diplomats are becoming an issue as they are deeply connected to Mondstadt's economic guilds and even a couple of the old Noble Families that helped found Mondstadt."
Jean led us to a nearby park bench as she collapsed into it with us sitting on either side of her as she took up the middle of the park bench. "Their envoys go by the name: The Fatui. They follow the orders of the Cryo Goddess, the Tsaritsa, and their way is that of absolutes when they can't get their way. I don't think killing Stormterror is the right course of action, but many civilians would rather have an absent icon like our Anemo God rather than a literal angry dragon raining storms upon the city..."
Lumine then clapped her hands as though she seemingly remembered something, and then I too recalled the large glowing red crystal that was formed of the corrupted energy Dvalin left behind as we began walking into Mondstadt. "I have something I need to show the Knights of Favonius. It's rather important so let's head back." Lumine said as she took mine and Jean's hands and pulled us towards the Knight's headquarters.

A few minutes later Jean had managed to literally drag Lisa out of the library's side bedroom, and it was obvious that she was barely half away as she brought me and Lumine in for a 'good morning hug' that ended up with her almost becoming dead weight as she attempted to go to sleep atop our shoulders.
"Lisa, we need you to look at this!" Lumine groaned as the curvy woman had a solid foot on Lumine as Lisa was 5;11 to Lumine's flat 5;00 and she wasn't holding back in acting like a deadweight sloth.
But Lumine took out the red glowing crystal that was shaped quite similar to a tear the moment Lumine took out the crystal, Lisa awoke with a surprised yelp and jumped away from us with her body being coated in Electro energy as she reflexively attempted to defend herself from whatever energy that hurt her.
"Ouch... Lumine sweetly that hurt!" She pouted at the unrepentant blond who just stuck out her tongue and stood behind me as though I could be a body shield should Lisa decide to become an anchor to bring us to the floor.
"Hmph this is why Jake is cuter..." She muttered making me smile wryly. "Hmm, it seems that the crystal is repelling elemental energy by rejecting those that have a Vision... I will look at the books to see if there is any information about Dvalin's blood from the times of the Archon Wars but in the meantime. Jake, Lumine you two need to hold onto it as it would be a pain to try and store it in a safe area where we cannot even approach it."
"Do you know what makes you special," Jean asked offhandedly and I couldn't help but smile as Lumine shook her head with no hesitation, clearly lying to Jean's face and when Jean and Lisa both looked to me, I simply shrugged.
"Well in either case please, Jake, Lumine, take the title of Honorary Knight of Favonius, and know that you have the gratitude of the Acting Grand Master," Jean said laying her hand across her chest and lightly bowing to us.
"Woah Honorary Knights of Favonius's!" Paimon cried out as she looked back between me and Lumine. "Wait what about me!" She cried out folding her arms over her chest as she stared at Jean.
Jean just giggled and looked away from Paimon ignoring her as she looked back to us. "In either case, I know the peace of Mondstadt is hanging in the balance what with the Fatui encroaching on our city and especially with Stormterror's tantrums. So, I ask you both to help us in these trying times."
We both agreed, promising our assistance when we could, and then Jean sent us out stating that the Adventure Guild certainly had missions that would be more our type of style as the Knights were busy with more private matters at the moment.
As she said that I was thinking she was probably mentioning the likes of Eula and probably Amber was currently investigating Fatui's movements out in the countryside.
