"Mom, do you think I'm a piglet?" Liuli teased, reflecting on how she had sneaked out in the afternoon and hadn't slept at all.
After the meal, she did feel a bit tired. However, the living room was bustling with activity as everyone prepared for her wedding the next day. It felt strange for her to go to bed alone.
But then again, she had sneaked out in the afternoon and lost track of time. She couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed.
"Go to bed early, or you won't be able to wake up tomorrow morning," advised Lin Yu.
"No, what day is it tomorrow? I can stay up all night and still be motivated!" Liuli replied with a smile.
"You're shameless. If you really can't fall asleep, go talk to your Grandma. Just make sure you're in bed by 10 a.m.," scolded Lin Yu, giving Liuli a stern look.
"Yes, Mom!" Liuli responded, sticking out her tongue playfully.
Though she sounded excited, in truth, she didn't feel excited at all.
