Zhou Jingwei stuffed the whole bag of soft candy he had just bought at the door into Cheng Weiyue's hand and asked her if she would like to have dinner with Wei Tingyao.
"That would be fine," Cheng Weiyue said.
Zhou Jingwei smiled, "Then let's eat together."
After he spoke, he pinched a peach-flavored soft candy into Cheng Weiyue's mouth.
The sour and sweet taste spread throughout her mouth. Cheng Weiyue bit into the soft candy, and juice squirted out.
"Is it sweet?"
"Sweet."
The autumn in Jingcheng was often rainy. Cheng Weiyue stood at the entrance to the art exhibition and saw fine rain threads falling from the sky.
Wei Tingyao's secretary went to bring the car over, and Wei Tingyao stood next to Cheng Weiyue, on the phone.
"Hello? Ximo."
"I'm not doing much, having dinner tonight with Jingwei and his girlfriend."
