"Yeah, I have plenty of free time. I'm not like you, having a bunch of people to worry about." Jiang Jinran turned his face to the side, his fox-like eyes brimming with laughter, "Cheng Weiyue, are you very envious of me?"
"Jiang Jinran, actually, you're the one who's envious of me, right?" Cheng Weiyue stopped in her tracks and looked at him, his laughter seeming so genuine, and pointed it out plainly, "There's nothing shameful about caring for the people around you. You don't need to force yourself like this."
The smile at the corners of Jiang Jinran's lips gradually faded, and his lips pursed into a tight arc as he said hoarsely, "Cheng Weiyue, you don't need to talk to me about such things. I don't want to hear them."
Cheng Weiyue nodded, "Then I won't say it."
She walked on, her steps showing no intention of waiting.
