They both looked surprised that she came there out of the blue but soon their shocked faces turned into an embarrassed one.
"Mother! We were about to come to the dining table soon anyway.`` It was Luci who came forward with that flattering smile that only meant that he needed something from her.
While Len was standing at his place as if he was frozen. His face was clam, like a lake that stirred for a second when the stone was thrown and then turned calm again.
"Who got hurt? And what did it need to be hidden?" asked Kath again when Luci panicked.
"That.. It was nothing much. What is in the menu? I am already famished with the long exercises." he said as he tried to drag her out of the room when she raised a brow.
