"I do not need your help in feeding myself!" Katherine was taken aback by his cold voice and angry look.
"No! I just thought.. As a mother I should do that!" she said softly, unsure of what had happened. She tried to look at him but he looked away as if he did not even want to see her face.
"Brother, are you upset over something?" Luci who was busy in rummaging the food since Sophia was not there and no one needed his services anymore felt something was amiss.
Though he did not like it, his brother had come closer to Katherine in the past few days and had been polite to her, if not affectionate.
Len stared at the worried face of his brother and wondered if he was part of the scheme too? Did anyone ever look at him with sincerity? For once, has no one thought about him as a tool to achieve their dreams?
