Len looked away. He had never felt this helpless in his life. He had thought that he was strong enough to handle a few ruffians if they were attacked.
He could proudly say that he could even handle an assassination attack but this word.. It was completely new to him and he felt like he did not know what to do here.
When they both left, only he knew how he had stayed calm in those few hours.
He had never felt the urge to see her ever in the past but this time, he was sure he would go crazy if he would not find her and Luci.
"I know it was a wrong decision. But I only wanted to impress you and Luci." he blinked and turned to look at her.
Her face looked embarrassed and guilty when he blinked again.
She looked adorable that way. The way she was looking at him when she had asked for his friendship and he did not realize when his face started to soften and a smile formed on it.
