"What kind of a conversation can a worker hold with an empress? You are just making a laughing stock of yourself by giving such bold statements!" Chris laughed coldly. His voice was dripping with frost and hostility when he looked at the man.
But the man didn't mind at all, he just smiled and said nothing as if he did not want to share a word of their little secret. His act only made Chris seethe with anger.
"That is it! You want to know where I was, I told you. You needed proof of my presence there, you got it. Is there anything else you want to ask to solve the issue?" she asked, looking at him with a cold look.
