There must be a strong reason for her panic. She saw Lia opening the portal again when she looked back only to find that the man was staring back at her.
Her eyes widened and she gulped. As charismatic his eyes were, she felt a strange pressure and fear crawling in her heart when their eyes met and she froze.
A smirk formed on the lips of the man who stared at her and then at the portal waiting behind her with knowing eyes.
She turned back and under the urging of Lia left from there.
