The woman stared at Chris hard. She looked as if she was waiting for him to shout. "I was joking." but he did not.
He did not even spare her another glance after saying his piece. He picked up the file and started reading it seriously, making her eyes twitch.
She wanted to tell him that the place of the second prince was empty and so were the annex buildings of the palace which were reserved for guests.
"Is there anything else?" he asked when she cursed him again.
Her eyes were blazing fire at him, yet she shook her head and stood up.
"Then I would be leaving." with that she bowed her head and left.
Just like that the whole night has passed.
"Are you really emptying your building for renovation? Just how much renovation did it need?" asked Aiden with a look of bewilderment as he looked at perfectly painted walls and well designed architecture.
