Chapter 30 - The flashiest decoy

The royal double door opened wide. Strolling peacefully in the royal garden, the fake noble was covered in specks of titanium, lighting his outfit like a starry rainbow.

With a bit of reluctance before making his first step outside, Arthur pushed his mind barrier aside once more to freely walk out of the palace. He stared at every single passerby, any civilian stunned by the pink abomination to ensure he, was invisible.

The ghost was amused, the curious trick worked as expected despite Arthur's lack of human interaction, his analysis had been good by just reflecting on his point of view. Each time he had been pointed at one of the details that disrupted his concealed existence, he had to correct the abnormality. Even once he was the one to spot it, he had a visceral need to suppress the fault.

And now that he roamed outside, the fault was visible to anyone, and the heights it reached made the eyesore impossible for anyone to correct besides Arthur himself.
