Chapter 75 - Death sentence

'Not now! Why now?' He mind-shouted. He had seen it coming from a mile away and he was too preoccupied by his panic to formulate it.

Maybe the eerie feeling was some kind of instinct that stirred his stomach. He was too busy pushing his body to its limit with the book of runes to alert Danr and now, the boy was on the front row, ready to take the first damage of the fight.

He felt sorry for the wyrmfolk and felt the bitter taste of his carelessness increase when he saw the shadow moving forward.

"I told you, never trust anyone!" Scorn said, pulling his ghostly hair up. He was the one to give Arthur a way to escape. The current inner turmoil was preventing Arthur from doing anything useful, however the same couldn't be said for Danr.

"What are you going to do, kid?" Taunted Bion. The man's reputation was as terrific as his stature and Danr's eagerness to attack was nearly inexistent.
