Stress was still prickling his neck. Arthur saw Danr comfortably sitting down the alley and chose to get closer before doing the same. He felt he needed a close presence to lower his blood pressure.

The wyrmfolk was baffled by what was in his hands. He held a centuries-old book with a name he had probably heard of during history and army class.

The book meant centuries of magical discoveries and dust he was glad to cough with. He was nearly in love with it. A thirst for knowledge took hold of him as his eyes devoured every bit of ink on the paper. The boy became too absorbed to respond to Arthur's furtive manners.

The one Arthur did not echo the same effect. As simply as it was written on the cover, it was a guide for advanced light magic users.
