Chapter 71 - Fright and chill

He was alert and unaware of her goal. In distress and the worst case possible, he supposed he would soon be the target of a murder attempt.

He moved toward his bed where his luggage was tied up and hurried to pull a set of clean clothes. He was relieved to find more student clothing but still stressed by the presence in his room. Under the folded mage robe, he was tightly holding onto the flower crest he wore as an insignia.

To further trouble the yet-to-be assailant, he moved straight forward, ignoring her last-second evasion as he closed the door back behind him.

With haste, he moved toward the baths as he was looking for someone he knew or more precisely someone who could protect him.

No random student could do the trick but with a glance behind, he couldn't spot the shadow following him anymore.

After commenting on Arthur's luck, Scorn told the boy to stay alert all the time. "Cunning humans never go alone." He said.
