"He missed!" Arthur shouted with the semblance of a smile.
Some of the nobles couldn't help but laugh at his claim since he appeared glad to be unharmed.
Arthur gave a few seconds for the noble court to react by slowly scratching the back of his head, then his smile turned upside down and his voice became deeper.
"He missed the opportunity to remain in the dark and live a rat's life in the sewers of my city!" His eyes scoured the sitting court and then the enormous crowd behind. He always had thousands of people to assist his appearance in public but rarely enough security to supervise them as he more than often never planned them.
Both his hands combed his white hair back as he kept searching for the rogue mage.
He couldn't gauge how much time he had lost trying to save the orc, so he looked at every single face he could spot while taking back his breath.
"But I'll make sure he'll do so from now on."
